    They've actually had that spot where terreux is at for several years. It was just functional office space for a while and if I remember correctly, they started putting some of the sour barrels over there and it naturally became the new spot.

    Sorry that this isn't more beer/release related...
    Just a quick question for fellow Society members. I live in Indy, so I have a Trustee for my Reserve Society membership. In the past, my Trustee has sent about 1 box a month. At the end of 2015 - I had a total order of 45 bottles (3x12 boxes/1x9 box). Once everything was shipped - it was only 39 bottles. One of the 12 boxes only had 6 beers.

    Trustee has been great for years and said he is certain he only received 39 bottles. One of the 12 bottle shippers was half empty when he got it. My own fault - I should have been checking bottle counts on every order. However, I just lost over $150 in beer (including a 2015 Black Tuesday) and it doesn't seem like there is much I can do about it. Anybody ever have issues like this in the past? Any advice?

    Did you confirm your receipts on the RS site against what was to be shipped and notify your trustee of what beers he'd be receiving in each shipment from the Bruery to ensure everything was aligned? Does the RS site say it shipped the orders you are missing? Are the missing bottles all from the same order(s), or is it just random bottles missing? I'd think if it was all one or two actual orders you made that didn't get through, you could try to take it up with the Bruery. If it's random bottles missing from multiple orders, and your person trustees for multiple people, he probably mixed up some of your beers.

    I ALWAYS keep a spreadsheet of what I have bought and I cross check it before I pick up so I know that I'm getting everything I'm supposed to. Mistakes are made, but they're really cool about it, just contact the society help desk and let them know what's missing.

    @ScottSwim

    You could check the weight of the box shipped via GSO. This would tell you if the box was shipped without the appropraite amount of bottles vs the trustee has gone rogue. A full 12 bottle shipper from the Bruery weighs 43.2lbs per my Fedex invoices.

    There has been times at the society pick up that they have goofed on missing a bottle or two and had to go in the back to get it. But they're usually go about double checking before they have you sign off on it. It seems that with the chain of command going from them to your trustee to you, that they really probably have no real reason to assume they screwed up. Strange situation.

    Do you remember the month? Seemed like Aug was bad and Dec good.

    Same as above -- That was my experience. What is more important is the bottle date. Same batch #, two different dates so far.

    8/2015 - BAD
    12/2015 - GOOD

    So is the "224" an actual batch number, or is that the code specific to Mash regardless of when it's brewed? @BruerJoel
