I've been to every Allagash release since 2012 and I don't recall session brett in bottles, only taps. Maybe session brett = little brett just renamed? That's just my speculation.

The Untappd descriptions of both Session Brett and Little Brett are pretty much identical. They're probably the same beer or are very similar. Either way, a beer called "Session Brett," to my knowledge, has never seen bottles.

Smart move; I don't typically think of brett beers as being high abv to begin with, so the new branding makes more sense to me. Great beer.

Ah nevermind I see a session brett tap handle in the friendship blend video

Found Nancy in a beer store in Vermont on Friday, jumped at it knowing how I like cherry beers. Drank it last night and loved it, one of the best sour beers I've had.

Funny I just came back from a small bottle shop in Epping NH. Had about 6 Nancy on the shelf. Happily surprised and grabbed two. Their Cerise was also delicious. If you see it grab it, you'll probably love it too.

I don't think any of their coolships hit distro, but Cerise is terrific.

You're right, Cerise was/is brewery only and it is terrific :-). I swung by when I was on vacation in ME.

Killer Beer! Really enjoyed it at the brewery, my only regret is only buying two bottles.

I know Nancy 2014 and 2016 were distro but 2015 was brewery only correct? I found a post a while ago on social media saying brewery only from Allagash but I've heard several people claim it hit distro. Wondering if they're just confusing it with the other two batches.

I'd have to check bottles in my cellar, but I am pretty sure I've bought Nancy at distro every year for the past 3 years.

99% sure that 2015 was the only brewery-only release of Nancy. I recall Allagash stating on social media that it was not hitting distribution, and if it did, I certainly didn't see it.

You are right that Nancy 2015 (bottled on 20 Aug 2015; released 14 November 2015) was brewery only.

Might be a bit dated, but I picked up Nancy on Saturday at Coastal, they just got it and hadn't even put it on the shelves yet. Not sure if it's gone or if people really know about it. Worth asking 'em.

How is Nancy? Im not the biggest brett fan but i figured the cherries would calm that down on my palate.

Nancy is amazing, it's one of my favorite beers from any brewery. I know it says it's fermented with brett but I think it's a sour red ale first and then re fermented with cherries and brett. But, I could be wrong on that. In any case I certainly don't get a ton of 'bretty' funk. I get cherries, tart, almond, then a touch of funk. Great beer!
