Was hoping for a little lactose/milkshake vibe I guess. It just tastes like an OH beer, not a collaboration.

I even let my Debbie Downer warm up to room temperature and don't taste the white chocolate

I think the white chocolate is supposed to be subtle. Might come out more with age.

It also seemed with having 4 beers released and so many getting full allotment, most were not taking advantage of the cash line. I got there about 8:15 and was halfway down Garnet. Line started moving around 9:45 and I didn't get out until 11:15. At the end I finally got to skip maybe 20-30 people because I had cash.

Motueka+Galaxy is fantastic and there are some similarities to No Lay Ups(nice to see that back on tap too). Glad to see a non-collab offering that is this hazy.(was worried about this DIPA after Superillo and Stacks on Stacks)

Debbie Downer really good too but, like others, I don't really pick up any White Chocolate. Just the Mango and Mosaic hops.

Really enjoying Debbie Downer, but I feel like it needs some more time in the can. I'm predicting that it'll be absolutely delicious in a week or so.

Anybody hear what the next release will be? I might actually be home that weekend.

    That sounds about right.

Boogie Board 2.0 is tasting nice. I prefer it to the recent canned version. Fruitier hop profile.

I wonder how double mosaic dream is gonna taste like, I know they weren't really too happy with the way the first batch came out

    Argh stupid summer plans!

Also, it looks like neither of the new beers are on tap at the brewery right now, which is odd. No kegs of Debbie or M/G?

Hope it's better than the first batch. The first batch wasn't awful, but Other Half has done way better with Mosaic hops. Fingers crossed for these cans.

I thought the last DMD was delicious, but if they are changing it I'm sure it will still be incredible (ugh...can't deny I'm a hopeless fanboy when I love their "mistakes"). Fuck it, beer is too good.

I had the pleasure of giving my 85 year old grandfather (who used to be in charge of krausening the beers at Schaefer's old spot in Brooklyn) a few samples of Debbie Downer, Motueka/Galaxy, Small Green Everything, and Boogie Board Stuntz during my family's 4th of July party. Very funny seeing his reaction to these beers. He loved them. Now he's telling me to bring new OH cans to every family gathering.

What do you all think of this release? I loved Flowerzzzz and adore M+G. I really love that hop profile. After a couple days, I get a TON of mango in Debbie Downer - but also a weird astringency at the finish. Hoping that dies down some.

M+G is incredible. Definitely my favorite of the release. Getting a lot of Mango on Debbie Downer but it is still very hot tasting. Especially for a -7% beer. Really hoping it mellows out a bit.
