Two registers going while I was there. Still just one line that winds through samples, merch, and purchase. It seemed well run and smooth, but I don't think it'll be "fast". Free stickers, free coasters, friendly staff, lots of parking.

How long did it take to get thru the line?

Well I was near the front before they opened, so I'm not a good barometer. They opened about 10 minutes early and I was out the door at 11:03.

Do they always have cans of focal , crusher and heady available for sale everyday they're open?

    From the OP
Q: What kind of beer will you sell?
A: We will have 2 year round beers that are available every day for sale— Heady Topper and Focal Banger. Other beers will rotate throughout the year. John will be bringing back many favorites from the pub days. When these beers are ready for sale, they will simply show up in our retail cooler. We will not be promoting or ticketing any limited releases.

Got there at 10:20 waiting in the parking lot next door for the parking lot to open, lot opened at 10:25 as stated and we were in line at 10:30.

Line ran smooth, I liked that they sent you through the sample line on the way to the register so you could have some while you waited. 2 registers so it moved kind quickly and we were out by 11:20!

I can't wait to plan a trip up! I love heady and would love nothing more to get some focal banger. Must be awesome to see that brand new brewery. They deserve it.

I know this is early on (only a few days so far!) but does it seem like they have a certain allotment they'll sell per day, and they'll "sell out" that day while maintaining the same (or similar) allotment for the next day? Or could they theoretically just sell out every tuesday / Wednesday etc.

    Thanks

    According to the website:

*Beer will allocated for each day we are open. We may sell out of a beer on any given day.

They have a very unique take on how to balance supply and demand to say the least.

I would expect the traffic to die down a bit as the buzz of opening eases. Maybe wishful thinking here, but hopefully sell outs won't be frequent.

I will be watching closely next week, the following week is the beer fest which brings alot of beer tourists from out of state (including me) so I assume it will be really busy. It might take a few weeks to get a feel for how it will look there going foward. Hopefully they will be able to do full cases of focal once it slows down, but i think the originally planned 2 case limit might be a little ambitious even in the slow months, I hope I am wrong about that though.

Are they allowing the same people to come back for cans multiple days in a row?

I don't think that they were stopping anyone from herting back in line. It was pretty efficient. The line was long and did not take forever like Other Half or something of that ilk. Kind of reminded me of Tree House.

I drove up Friday on a long detour to our place in Vermont. Got to the parking lot and turned around. There's no way I could manage a 2 hour line with my wife and daughter in the car. Hell, I wouldn't want to anyway. I sure hope it dies down and becomes more normal or it really won't be worth visiting for me.

The line was 2 hours on Friday, but the same length took 20 minutes on Saturday. They added registers which speed up the process alot.

Was planning on heading up tomorrow for opening and wanted to grab some lunch after. Saw that Pro Pig isn't open until 4 on Wednesdays. Anyone have any recommendations for a lunch spot near the brewery?
