I've had both this and Gumball Head off tap once and gotta say, I'd prefer this one. Gotta try both more to be certain, but I think that's saying a lot for SSF. The only other beer of the style that comes close is MT FI.

Great beer now and even greater potential. I'm excited for your future.

Visited you guys once thus far. Project Aurora was my favorite...silky smooth. As another BA commented, War and Peach was very very spicy...a little too spicy. Overall, my constants flight was tasty!

Is this batch of Double Actuator a different recipe or something? I found the original to be too sweet, though it's not bad by any means. I did not like the Recursion at all. Leche Mole is solid.

My general opinion of Bottle Logic at this time is average ... they have nothing outstanding yet. I will continue to support though, I wish local breweries nothing but the best.

Recursion is my favorite beer from you guys. The new batch of War and Peach, little too spicy for my liking. Overall good stuff.

    As a beer fan:
I was there on opening and had a great time. Left with the beaker glass and some growlers. I love the mother hiefer and tattered prince. The Sucre offerings were some of the best at the festival. I always buy bottles from Mr.K's when they come in because i dig the beer and love the artwork. Only thing i wish is the shirts came in fat dude sizes.

    As a social media/events manager:
I am impressed with what you guys are doing in the social space. Good content, smart ad-buys, and good customer service. Probably in my top 2 as far as digital marketing for socal Breweries. I look forward to seeing you guys throw your own/first special event to see how that plays out.

Big fan, keep up the good work!

First time I hit up Bottle Logic.... my positives and negatives:

(+) First, great room/bar. Nice area, big TV's in back, although a TV that the patrons sitting at the bar could see as they are facing forward would be cool... for those of us who like watching tv/sports while drinking our brews.

(-) Unless you've been there before ya really can't see the "Order" sign that's at the far end of the bar. People seem to group around the area of the bar closest to the door until a bartender tells them to move down to the order line. Also, people who come in later and eventually move down to the "order" line seem to get served before patrons who have been sitting at the bar waiting before those others were there.

(+) Prequel: Alpha - That White IPA was freaking great. Super light body and lots of hop aroma and flavor.

(- & -) Recursion 2.0 IPA didn't seem to have much of a hop aroma or flavor. Ok, maybe a tad bit of flavor but it seemed like the hops were stuck in purgatory between the maltiness and no-man's land. Supposedly a "melon-driven IPA" but way too much sweetness was competing with any melon flavors (which were fairly weak). I don't think the malt base was necessarily overdone in this beer, but the hops need to be upped.. way up. Double Actuator was, yikes, super malty. I could see people in certain parts of the East Coast freaking out over this beer in like 2005 (hell, look how much they love that 90 min IPA) but it doesn't go anywhere near the crispness of the DIPA's we are use to around here. To me that's just not drinkable beyond a couple ounces, and even for those couple ounces not really enjoyable. I can't even think of a double IPA in So Cal that's so sweet/soupy.

(+) The beers were super clean. Even ones lacking in flavor were damn clean and brought their drinkability back up a notch.

Still waiting for an OC brewery (north of PP San Clemente) to get near the quality of beers that TAPS produces.... I think Bottle Logic could make a run at it, at some point down the road... more than Noble anyway (who is too fixated on chili/pepper beers).

I live in the area and have visited on a few occasions. What I really love about Bottle Logic is the unique theme you guys have that can be seen across everything you offer. Everything from the decoration of the tasting room, to the merchandise just emits creativity and quality about your brand.

I usually go on a Sunday so maybe it is less crowded, but I've always noticed that there is never trouble finding a seat, and the customer service is friendly and helpful.

I can't say that I'm a fan of all the beers, but Mother Heifer is my favorite so far. I really love BA Stouts and Sours, so The Bruery is usually where I'm at, but the environment at Bottle Logic is definitely something I come back for. Looking forward to what you guys put out in the future!

Greyhound IPA with grapefruit was freaking great. I'd go back just for that one. Keep brewing it please!

double actuator is awesome. I also like your recursion and your calf life. Hwoever, every time you come out with your new imperial stouts, you always make them bourbon aged. Your fundamental observation beer tastes almost like your leche borracho. I like the FO more than LB, but them both being bourbon aged gives them similar tastes. I know some people love that high alc content, but damn. Calf Life on Nitro is bomb. Make a new stout or IPA (triple ipa even) on nitro. I'd Love that. You guys are awesome.

    There's already a thread, dude. http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/bottle-logic-brewing-thread.341308/page-38

You'd have to really go out of your way to avoid that and post in this one.

Add on limited pickup windows. I know ppl hate that but it removes a lot of the cluster when ppl cannot send up the bat signal for mule team 6 assemble!!!

Plus think of it this way, originally for the most recent release we were being given a week, sure it is over a holiday weekend..but there are places *cough* O'so *cough* who have their next bottle pickup during a 5hr window...only. Yeah, 5hours on some saturday afternoon. So when we think a week is bad, just remember that.
