I'm confused, those are new beers? That's great for Threes though!

New to them I guess. I just remember after Paste listed Lambo Door at #1 and Tesseract at #4 in a blind IPA tasting they blew up (even more so than before).

Ha, they got that wrong too (though only by a little bit)

Have to be honest this comment made me laugh. This is exactly what people sound like when they get shut out in line.

Yeah I'm not quite sure why the person couldn't order the beer online just because they were "away." No internet?

SFY came out a year and half ago. So not really new for 2016.

This is a normal, level headed person, getting shut out...like, shucks, missed it, oh well. Now if this was an entitled beer geek getting shut out...

    Anyone try Yclept yet?
Also is this a new release? I see check-ins for this dating back to May

Drinking it now. Lovely aroma, delicious taste. Clearly some new school influence in the hops, but still has a malt flavor and presence that stays true to the traditional pils. Drinking crisp, dry and with moderate bitterness.

    I'm a fan.

And yes, I think it was previously a draft offering, although maybe it was one of their first can releases. I don't recall.

I don't think one sixer of this is enough.

Whole Foods Brooklyn is selling them. Or at least yesterday they were.

Got it at Whole Foods on the Upper West Side. I assume it's citywide at this point.

I'm loving Yclept though maybe the bitterness is a tad rough.

    From Threes:

Yesterday afternoon, our chiller overheated, preventing us from being able to move the batches of SFY and Unreliable Narrator that were slated for canning to our packaging tank. As a result, this morning we had to make the difficult decision to reschedule the packaging runs until next week.

The beer will now be available starting July 15th (pickup windows below).

We apologize to everyone who purchased either or both of these beers and expected to receive them this weekend. We know this is a drag, however, it was unavoidable - we would not make this change unless it was absolutely necessary.

As a small gesture of our appreciation for your understanding, we will be offering a free draft beer to everyone when they pick up their pre-ordered cans next week. You can redeem that at the designated pickup area.

For anyone that decides that they want to pass on this batch of cans, we understand and are happy to order a full refund. Simply reply to this note with "CANCEL ORDER" in the subject, along with your full name and order number and we'll issue that ASAP.

This kind of bums me. I may have to request to cancel my order. Any thoughts on how this delay will affect the beers themselves?

I wonder if this means some more SFY will be available to buy now. I was going to be away for all original pickup windows, so I passed on this release. But now I may be interested.

Well, guess we found a drawback of the preorder system.

Meh, things happen. Didn't the other half/omnipollo thing get screwed up and rescheduled for much later? At least threes will give you a beer for waiting an extra week.
