Can you also link me to the rail trail? I'm always looking for a good bike trail and this sounds like a good one. Where do people usually park their cars?

I drank a Karnij last night. I haven't drank my Karnl yet to compare the two but the Karnij I thought wasn't too cherry forward. I'm looking forward to the BBQ in August

Hopefully I'm allowed to post a link in here... http://dutchessrailtrail.com/ There are parking lots in quite a few places along the trail, including a large parking lot right near the Walkway Over the Hudson. The map isn't great, but the intersection of Innis Avenue and the Rail Trail is probably the closest identifiable "landmark" to Plan Bee.

Right before posting I also found this map.. http://www.dutchessny.gov/CountyGov/Departments/DPW-Parks/PPDRTFullMap.pdf -- Underhill Road (where the farm is located) is near the top of the map just below where it says "Morgan Lake Trailhead" -- if I'm reading the map correctly though, the farm is actually about a mile further east on Underhill Road on the other side of Grand Avenue.

If nobody else seems to care about his, and you need more info, feel free to message me.

Millhouse & Bluecollar. Their basically nanos but still put out decent beer . Their both about a mile from the trail.

Thanks for the helpful links! Is this a car-free trail? And is it a tow path? Wondering if I should take out the hybrid bike or road bike

OK, thanks -- I didn't even think of Millhouse as being close to the trail, but you're right -- excellent food too. And haven't made it to Blue Collar yet, but will have to do that.

Yes it's car-free (you have to cross a couple of small roads, but they're well marked; all the major intersections have bridges crossing the road). And not a tow path. It's completely paved so a road bike is fine, you will see a lot of other bikers as well as people walking (with and without dogs or strollers) or even rollerblading.

Normally I like to sit on my Plan Bee bottles for a few months, but if you have a Precious crack one. It is drinking amazingly fresh. One of the best Plan Bee beers I've ever had. Makes me think the Pitz will be awesome too.

These newer batches are definitely more ready to drink than the older batches

I finally got around to trying some of the stash I'd had on hold in New York. Nectar and Barn Beer drank very well this week. Plan Bee has a very distinct yeast and flavor profile that I find in all their beers. And I love the light bodies and drinkability. Easy to take a 750 to the head solo and not be worse for the wear.

Also, cool to run into fellow Plan Bee fan @DovGibor last night!

I think it still depends on the style of beer. The darker stuff [Karnl, Karnij, Royal Jelly] still seems to need a few months to at least get the right carb going. I think any issues will change over time as PB ups their barrel stock game.

One thing I've been wondering, are all Plan Bee beers blends of various barrels? Anyone know?

No, they are not all blends. Many batches are done in their open foeders all together and not separately aged.

I had my last bottle of Wild Rose the other night. I think that one may have passed Quince to be my favorite so far (at least from the first two months - I haven't picked up my allocations for the past few months yet). The feel on these beers, and especially Wild Rose, is just so soft.

There must be like a script or something for the shop to put them out at specific times.

I understand two-person businesses are tough though.
