    The beer list is solid there, but the new owners have killed the cool vibe it used to have, IMHO. I was sad to see the beeriana replaced by more TVs.

    Try the Pearl on Wacker. Great food and select $4 (Currently Summit & Goose) pints during happy hour. Beer list was solid the last few times I have been there.

    If you make it into Wicker Park, try Links Taproom (36 beers on tap), Emporium (Barcade that has a great tap list), and Bangers & Lace (usually have a good menu of Belgians and sours)

    This is my go-to place if I'm going out for a beer after work, given its proximity to my office. It definitely has one of the better draft lists downtown.

    I will say, though, as I do to anyone visiting Chicago, get the hell out of downtown at some point and explore the neighborhoods. :slight_smile:
