Ha! I was just confused. The cars were making left AND right turns in this race!

If I had taken part, rest assured the NASCAR knowledge bar would have to have been lowered even further.

Well were stepping of the grid for a much needed vacation spending the first week camping on an island in Maine. But I plan on hitting Allagash during the week and against my better judgement perhaps I'll try to get some cans from Bissell Bros. So if anyone would like anything from Allagash drop me a line I'd be more than happy to pick it up. And maybe this time I won't have to wait 2 hrs in line at Bissell Bros. to not get any beer.

If you are going to Bissell Brothers there is absolutely no reason not to walk over to Foundation.
Given a choice between Swish and Epiphany I would pick Epiphany at least 60% of the time.

Have fun! I'm still working my way through your LIF box, so I'm good, appreciate the offer though. Cheers!

Since Bissell Bros has moved from the industrial park I'm sure I'll still stop at Foundation while at Allagash. And I agree I'd take Epiphany over swish any day. But I'll still have to go see Bissell Bros new digs at OldPort.

Been thinking about my LIF since I was the unexpected winner from of a "sport" which I know or care little about (yes I used these air quotes because, really, racing qualifies as a sport..?:rolling_eyes:). @beertunes was the gracious host of that one, now it's my turn.
Another sport that I am very bad at but I give a pass to is golf. Why the pass? Because it is perfectly acceptable to drink beer while "playing" it!! Again those pesky air quotes, for me "playing" golf is mostly swearing and drinking.
Anyhoo, there's this small tournament called the British Open on July 14-17. Same rules, pick the winner of said tournament! Whoever picks the winner gets a tasty box o' beer from the Mitten state! Good luck!

I'm going with Rory McIlroy, only because he kinda looks like Noonan from Caddyshack.

I'm going to pick Graeme McDowell. Don't really have a reason other than this is a tournament where you will get someone you don't expect winning it.

Is it safe to assume that who ever finishes highest will be the winner.
Perhaps a tie breaker is a good idea (most puts in the final round)

I was going with whoever wins the tournament via playoffs or not. How would they tie? (generously curious)

I am a huge fan of the British open so I would like to offer an alternate prize.
I will send a couple of bottles and or cans of NJ beer to the person that picks the player who cards the highest score on an individual hole. so go ahead and pick the player you think will get stuck in a bunker for a couple of shots, finally get out of the bunker and end up in fescue, over shoot the green and three put all on the same hole. (The record is believed to be a 21, recorded at Prestwick in the first Championship in 1860.)

What if no one picks the winner? thee are a hundred and something players entered
Than (I am assuming) the winner would be whoever picked the highest finisher. They can be tied for whatever place.

Oh crap, you're right. The person who scores as the highest finisher shall be the said winner in my book. Thanks for pointing that out. If there is a tie then the least amounts of putts in the final round it shall be...

I did warn you guys that I'm not a big fan of golf. :grimacing:

Just amend your parameters to read "winner, or highest finisher. In event of a tie, I will offer a tie-breaker question as applicable." That's what I did on my leg, and it did end up in a tie, which is how we got the NASCAR question.

    NOONAN!!!!
