Other Half re-brewed it. New batch. First batch was discarded.

I agree it's not the end of the world. Challenge is when you arrange your schedule around the pick up and that falls through. I won't be here the following weekend so it throws me off for sure.

Well, at least if I decide to hit the (as yet unannounced, as far as I know) Other Half release next Saturday I can just swing by Threes and kill two Brooklyn beer pickups birds with a single stone.

So then you just get a hassle-free refund and forget beer ever was available.

In response to someone above, I don't really think this is a drawback.

Not a drawback for us really. But i'm sure it caused some unwanted headaches and loss of income for the brewery.

Not a huge deal but since I live in Jersey I did set up a whole happy hour meet up with my friends that work in the city based on going in that day to get the order and now if I want the beer I have to go back in again the next week. It ain't cheap getting in and out of Brooklyn/ Manhattan! I know, poor me.

This works out for me because I have off next saturday but I can imagine some people will be pretty pissed.
At least it seems like this will be an isolated incident and they are offering a free pour at the brewery when you pick up your cand for those who ordered already, which is a pretty nice gesture.

They stated they had a problem so cans won't be available as planned - so why is this even being discussed/whinged over? Shit happens, its a business, they made alternate plans and offered refunds to anyone who needs it - so what's to discuss?

I mean, this is a discussion board where we discuss things. I think this has been a pretty civil thoughtful conversation. Much better than what I see in other threads.

Of course, but it just seems like a waste of time to have this back and forth about how this effects each so and so's weekend beer pickup plans due to what seems like an avoidable issue. Craft beer entitlement a bit. Carry on.

I dunno, I'm surprised this one hasn't been "cleaned up" yet. I'm offended

Haha as someone whos been ''cleaned up'' this aint that bad. I can see why people are upset but i think this is understandable given how new they are in terms of releases. And its important to discuss stuff like this especially when it comes future releases.

I knew it was only a matter of time before someone used the magic insult "entitlement." Stop with the the entitlement complaint already. It's perfectly normal to discuss on a discussion board (as others have said) how this might affect us. Not everything is entitlement. I paid for this beer, so yes, I am ENTITLED to it. Can I pick it up next weekend? You betcha! But it did screw up my plans a bit. And others too. We can talk about it a bit and I haven't seen anyone carry on railing against Threes unreasonably.

Does anyone think this will push back their next release? Saw they were working on more eternal return.

For some reason I didn't get an email. Can someone please copy the pick-up times for me?
