Yeah I got the email lastnight also. So pumped they are brining this beer back. I'm guessing they will start releasing it the first week of October.

So is this CO and OH only, or is it gonna be released in So CA again as well?
I didn't run into any bottles last release, hope it comes back out here.

    Doesn't sound that way: http://www.stonebrewing.com/enjoyby/

That may not apply to seeing it on draft, though (particularly at Stone).

hmmm... cutting out their home market seems weird.

I was hoping it would continue to pop up in SD, that way each release it should be easier to find. I would love to be able to buy a bottle every time they made it. Hopefully I will be able to find it out on tap again though.

Might have to do with the tweet campaign thing, just a guess. Does seem random otherwise.

FWIW, the Stone Company Store in South Park is out of the first Enjoy By. The lady I spoke with said they plan on brewing the recipe more often, but it didn't sound like they were going to get anymore anytime soon.

Is this the same beer as the first release or a completely different recipe?

Not really random. Colorado for GABF, Ohio because we are their number 4 or 5 state in terms of sales plus Cleveland Beer Week is mid-late October.

3 Floyds makes many IPAsih beers that are better, IMHO.

So...cold activated and punch top cans are gimmicks. What is the proper terminology for this nonsense?

Genius marketing to beer geeks, like the other is genius, albeit gimmicky, marketing to BMC drinkers

I suspect he lives in "The Region", so no, he's not right next to Ohio. It's probably a 2+ hour drive. And even if he's in Indy, it's over an hour to Ohio. This is like saying that San Diego is next to Pasadena.

But you've obviously never been in that area, because if you had you'd know that it would be shocking to find much craft beer in any of the small towns in Ohio that are near the Indiana border (unless you are in southern Indiana near Cincinnati) - so you can add on at least another half hour to that.

    But hey, it's beer!

Yeah I have been there. All my family lives at the Indiana/Ohio border. When I am in California I will drive from Riverside to San Diego or San Diego to LA to get a beer I couldn't get in Arizona. If you want it that bad you make a little drive.

    Hicksville!

Seriously, I can see driving that far for Alpine, Bruery, etc. To a bottle store carrying Stone? Nah...

I'm in Indy and Cinci and Dayton are around 2 hours. Columbus is about 3.

As you said, in the rural parts of Indiana, you'd be lucky to find 312 or SN Pale Ale.

Finding the time to make the trip would be the hardest part, I think.
