I haven't bought Todd for a long because of this. We get Florida Sue fresher than we get MN Todd. I still have a very high opinion of Todd, but the economics don't dictate me drinking it very damn often.

I agree, FWIW... Also, everyone else in Ankeny and the DSM area agree as well because there is NEVER any in the cooler at HyVee anymore...

Per Facebook, some distro of Sumo to happen after an initial drop in the taproom. I assume this means MN and WI.

Yeah it isn't much different from the FL Sue. But I was a bit surprised it looked nothing like the Original Decorah Sue I had a Casanova's a few months back. Obviously with it being GDH it would taste different, but it LOOKED very different as well.. The GDH wasn't nearly as cloudy and the taste wasn't as good either IMO. But like I said, that's going to happen adding in Galaxy hops. I was a bit dissapointed in GDH to be honest.. Still haven't cracked the one DDH Sue I have. Hopefully that brings me back.

The Decorah Sue I had at Nova was 100 all day long.. All day long!!

Bottles made it to MKE today, not sure that helps you out or not. But from my understanding, they usually hit a region per day, so if it hit MKE, I doubt they'd make a separate trip for MN, but I could be wrong.

TG still self distributes in Wisconsin. JBROS in Minnesota. So Wisconsin getting it doesn't mean that you won't!

Thanks for clearing that up, but I didn't mean to imply that because WI got it doesn't mean MN won't, not sure if that's how it came off.

Sumo is better than the Todd I had at lunch today.

Anyone in the IC area go pick up any SuMo and wanting to sell a bottle or two? Could add in a bottle of something else if so.

I agree with the people saying the 4 pack cans of Sue are much better. I remember buying some 4-5 months ago and thinking it was awful. It just didn't compare to what I'd previously had in bottles, but the latest 4 pack of cans I got was heavenly. That being said, Thresher Wheat IPA is up there with the Hill Farmstead IPAs in flavor profile- crisp, delicate and lemony hop flavor.

All this talk makes me think I'll have to go grab a 4-pack of sue sometime soon.

Thresher is one of my favorite summer beers. This last run was excellent. Hazy as hell and very refreshing.

I agree, I was vocal previously about the quality of Sue cans being mediocre, but damn this 6/21 batch is solid. This is what I was dreaming of when we first heard about Sue in cans. Took awhile to get there, but I'm glad we're here!

Hmmm....I personally thought the 6/21 cans of Sue I got paled in comparison to the 5/25 cans I had prior to them. Decent, but not even close to the greatness of the 5/25 cans.

Well, it is clear that FL 'Sue is pretty much on par with IA 'Sue, since we now officially have nostalgia for past batches of FL 'Sue! :grinning:

According to Clark on Twitter, the Cycle colab is called Chain Smoker. It will premiere at an upcoming TG beer dinner. It will release at TG and Cycle in late August.
