MGN label reminds me of the old Nugget Nectar one.

Sweet. Expecting another easy breezy, roll-in-at-12pm-for-a-full-allotment release.

I'm in love. I've been keeping my favorite labels in a large sketchbook I have and these got me excited. Magic Green Nuggets is awesome too, so I'll be at this one.

    Love the name....

otherhalfnyc -- We will also be releasing a new bottle this weekend to go with the cans(7/16 starting at 10am). Forgot About Drie is an oak barrel fermented ale with brettanomyces and lactobacillus. We brewed this a year and half ago and it spent a year in white wine barrels before we bottled it. It's been conditioning in bottle ever since and now it's ready to go. The primary fermentation was with Brettanomyces Brux Drie which is the origin of the name. This will be $15 per bottle with a 6 bottle maximum per person. Thanks!

So I'm new to brett and lacto beers, would these be good to hold onto for a while? At $15 a bottle I'm not sure about buying 6 but if theyll hold up in the back of the fridge for a year or so I may splurge...

Lol that's basically $1 per ounce. Thanks but no thanks.

The only thing I'd judge you for is getting up at 6 when you're on vacation!

It must get tiring to complain about prices as much as you do.

That being said, given how long this beer has been aged in barrels and then bottles, this price is reasonable, if not affordable. The real question is whether they can actually pull it off, given that this is their first real foray into this type of beer.

I'm assuming the IPA is left over from the last release?

I thought that too when I saw it, but the description says it's a fresh batch. Maybe they are trying to get rid of those pre-printed cans ASAP?

Haha I went back and read the description too. Didn't they also have a ton of Forever Ever cans printed too?

Guess that's what happens when your "flagship" IPA is the least popular beer you make.

Aw man Debbie Downer over here. Joking aside, when you mostly produce phenomenal one off beers, I don't expect the run of the mill, always on tap, standard IPA to be highly sought after.

Yeah that's all I really meant. It's a nice problem to have for sure. Which are the other cans that are full-printed like this? All Green Everything I know...the All Orange Everything cans were I believe...any others?

Hey everyone, I'll be in town this weekend visiting family and might stop by for this. I know it can vary from release to release, but in general is it necessary to get in line by 8 or are cans usually still left after the line has been through? And is it strict no shares on line, or do people bring bottles anyway? Thanks in advance!

Lately it's been safe to get there around noon and be able to grab cans. But there is always the exception of what beer is released/hype around it. It's only really necessary to line up early if you want to be out of there by a certain time IMHO.

Based on early hype readings of IG comments and even in this thread...this should be another easy peasy release. Rolling through around 11-12 should be fine to get the cans you want.
