True, and in a little bit of irony/hypocrisy, I get some onion on the Broz right now, so I'll probably sit on those for a week and see if that drops off.

Heading there today. Major Rager worth getting in cans?

Seems like they have a lot of the same beers on tap that I saw a few weeks ago, same batches still sitting around?

I'm enjoying my Major Rager cans. I don't think they've rebrewed anything since a few weeks ago, probavly the same batches.

Wow, I guess they are really unhappy about Major Rager sticking around for so long, no limits on Child Support this week!

My thoughts exactly! A beer that has been teased since opening. A hoppy Pilsner is not the most popular but I see it going quick.

I'd buy a case if I could get down to Richmond. One nice thing about a hoppy pilsner is they're usually still great as the hops fade so you don't have to drink them immediately.

And no limits on the sour, as well. Interesting...

    July 12th Release

    Step Dad Chaperone
is an 8.5% Double IPA hopped exclusively and intensely with 100% Mosaic hops. This one turned out incredible! One of our favorite single hop DIPAs to date. Notes of peach, tangerine, papaya, subtle dankness, melon, and juicy as all get out! We're super amped on this one and hope y'all are too. Shooting for approx 185-195 cases of Step Dad Chaperone. $15+tax per 4-pack. No Limit.

Boss Man is the pinnacle of our sour IPA office series. Clocking in at 8.7% this kettle soured Double IPA is just insane. The most acidic(sour) of any sour IPA we've released so far. ABV is extremely well hidden as it drinks more like 6%. Hopped intensely with Citra, Simcoe, and Amarillo. This is just straight up sour juice and insane. We CANNOT wait for y'all to try this one. Shooting for approx 90-100 cases of Boss Man. $15+tax per 4-pack. No Limit.

    Child Support
is our 4.5% Hoppy Pilsner. It is definitely not an IPL, but more of a hop foward Czech style Pilsner. We decided to make Child Support a single hop beer to showcase particular varietals. For our first batch, we decided to go with Citra. A semi-hefty whirlpool edition and lightly dry-hopped, we are proud and excited to share this crusher with y'all. Shooting for approx. 140-145 cases. $13+tax per 4-pack. No Limits.

So I get no limits on this after last week with three new beers. But I bet if they keep on that route when they bring back something people already know and love there will be a lot of sad faces in the back of the line on that Tuesday.

The first ones I had on Tuesday and Wednesday were glorious but on Saturday I definitely noticed grass and onion in there and will wait a few days to have my last one too. Really, I probably should have just drank/shared all 4 on Tuesday.

I'm actually much less likely to make a trip to The Veil for one of their releases if there are no limits, this seems like a dumb idea and I hope cans sell quick so they bring limits back for future releases.

Guess Veil is not done releasing info about tomorrow. a 4th can has been announced with a new look

Master Master Shredder Shredder is the double dry-hopped version of our beloved flagship IPA Master Shredder. We went ahead and brewed a double batch and designed a can just for this special variant. This batch came out crazy! Even brighter than the previous batch. This is definitely our staff's favorite Master Shredder variant yet. We know y'all are going to dig this one. Incredible aroma. Dank, fresh orange peel, grapefruit, slight onion(in a good way). We absolutely love this one. Shooting for approx. 224 cases. $14.50+tax per 4-pack. No Limit. 3D glasses included!

Count me among those who are a little disappointed that they went to no limits. Planning to arrive around 3:30 p.m. tomorrow as part of a larger road trip and really hoping the lack of limits doesn't lead to a crazy line and people buying cases upon cases.

I'm really excited that MMSS is back and looks to be in regular rotation.

The no limit release is the first thing they've done that seems really lame. It feels like punishment for not buying their beer fast enough last week.

I seriously doubt they'll sell out tomorrow. The new double batches have really increased the supply.

What time do folks see the line starting for tomorrow? First timer so want to be both courteous and near the front : )

I'd say you should probably count on it being a good size line but I'd also say I agree it's really unlikely they're going to sell through all this tomorrow. If you go later I think it's really likely they'll have plenty of these and there won't be a line. They're talking 650 cases of beer. The lowest is the sour IPA at 90. Even if everyone bought 1 case of MMSS that's still 224 people. Personally, I wouldn't buy more than I could drink in a few days because mmss fell off fastest of everything I've had from them. I think a lot of folks realize these don't hold up all that well and it's pretty dumb to hoard them.

I'd also like to think no limits cuts down on muling so maybe shorter lines than if there are limits.

My money is on a line starting by noon. I also think that's unnecessarily early. On the day of dirt nap it started at 11:15AM and the last allotment went to someone in line at 3:10PM. Nothing like that has happened since though I don't believe.

I think the earliest at least a few people show up is around Noon but IMO that is way too early. Maybe 2pm or so at the earliest but who really knows how people will be with limits lifted.

If you are coming from out of town then do yourself a favor and support some other businesses nearby instead of sitting in a parking lot for hours. Mekong opens at 11am and then Strangeways at Noon. Both are only a few miles away.

With how early people get in line for these releases I personally think some of the other breweries in Scott's Addition should open up earlier on Tuesdays to capitalize on the business. Just think of how many people may check out Ardent, Isley, Buskey Cider and Black Heath Meadery before jumping in line since they are only a 5-10 minute walk from Veil.

This, they might not want to seem like they're piggybacking on The Veil's success but if I rolled up (tomorrow's different) and could tell I'd be shut out of something already at 3PM I'd roll right on over to Ardent or something and come back after the line died down to get what was left.

5th (and final surprise) beer for tomorrow has been announced.....and it's a Crowler....with a limit

Stay Woke is the second beer to be released from our 3BBL Pilot batch system. Clocking in at 8%, this Double IPA was hopped exclusively and intensely with 100% Nelson hops. This one turned out crazy! We are super stoked on the final product. Notes of tropical fruit, gooseberry, blood orange, a touch dank, and bright citrus rind. We used pretty much the remainder of our Nelson hops on this and it was well worth it. Now we need to locate some more Nelson so we can scale it up! Yield was low because of amount of hops we used and the size of the batch. We are shooting for 60 crowlers total. $13+tax per crowler. 1 crowler per person limit. We should have a few kegs for on premise draft too.

Step Dad Chaperone is an 8.5% Double IPA hopped exclusively and intensely with 100% Mosaic hops. This one turned out incredible! One of our favorite single hop DIPAs to date. Notes of peach, tangerine, papaya, subtle dankness, melon, and juicy as all get out! We're super amped on this one and hope y'all are too. With this madness, I'd put the over/under 60 people in line at 1:30. If you aren't worried about getting a crowler of something you can have on draft I wouldn't sweat it beyond that.

I'm hoping folks bored in line pass on updates - I'm really curious to hear how this one plays out.
