Well, the bottle clearly says "GOSE", though why a line that features BBA beers would suddenly feature a gose is less clear.

But, but, it's a juicy, hazy GOSE!

Gose? Thats odd and one I will pass on for sure. I thought the Vanilla Stout was supposed to be next.

Flipped a coin yesterday to either go to BWLB or to the new BPLB. BP won. Yea I know I missed out on whatever was left from BW's anniversary party Saturday. Got to BPLB (actually Alamitos Bay) 5 minutes before opening and it was already packed. Approximately 50 people waiting for the doors to open. Had a pint of Blunder (Big Eye & Sculpin) which was very good. Then first time trying Calm Before the Storm. Blunder was my favorite. Had most of the BP beers before. I will have to go back and get a growler fill of the Blunder before it's gone. I guess BP is spending their well earned Billion dollars in getting their beers out to more people. Cause when we left out of there around 1230 the place was a zoo. Actually we went straight outside for a table. Sat waiting for our server to show up. 15 minutes later we went and order our beers at the bar near outside. She finally came to our table as we were finishing up our first glass. Order another round and saw that she was the only server for the outside location. Madness. Did BP not hire enough server/workers? The place is very nice with some great views of the bay and out towards LB. I would have to say 70% of the people were there for BP beers and the in thing to do. I think most has not a clue about Beachwood being around the corner and other better beers out there. This craft thing has taken off big time. I guess its a good thing.

Luponic Distortion Batch 2 will be coming out later this month. I really enjoyed Batch 1. Enough to go out and buy a 2nd six pack. Batch 2 will have 7 hops (5 new) And some like a papaya taste. Interesting.

lol...I'm old. Sculpin was a good choice....back in the day. But so was GFWCIPA. So what happened? Change. Thats what happened. And for the better.

Luponic Distortion has become our household go-to ipa. i get the evil eye from my wife if we run out. We got a chance to try LD 002 at the Buelton location over 4th of July weekend, and Ive gotta say it was on par, if not better than 001!

Is there a way to compare the two batches? It looks like once the second came out the first were all taken off the shelves, at least at the stores I tend to go to.

Beer Belly had them both on yesterday but unless you saved some of rev 1, you're probably out of luck. I would bet there is still some floating around out there but I don't know where you are in LA/OC.
