Figures, though. That's all they've made in the last month (no complaints here). I'm disappointed in the release date due to my vacation, but you can't win 'em all. Hopefully I can get it on draft a week later at what I assume will be the Horchata release.

 

Don't count on that one just yet. My guess based on what I heard is another few weeks for that. Not sure what they have in their tanks though aside from that and Konkey as of now, should have asked lol

 

Huh, I guess the info I've been getting from one of the bartenders has been admittedly iffy lately. The upcoming brews have been correct, but the timing... Not so much.

 

Your post makes me think you were expecting Bock, Hefe, BSDA, ESB, Mild, and Gruit.

 

Oh how I long for the days when every self-respecting alehouse had a gruit trough!

 

Passing through the area in a few weeks, considering hitting Hoof Hearted and Seventh Son Brewpubs. How dog-friendly are those places? And is there a grocery store/bottle shop nearby where i can grab some White Raja, Headhunter and Bodhi?

 

Always thought the bias was against the look of the brew and the perceived "initial" taste, but having enjoyed some other "turbid" DIPAs, both fresh and a few weeks from canning, I'm not sure where the prejudice for HH stems.

 

Bodhi *might* be available on tap at Weiland's (which should also carry the other two bottles). Bodhi is tap only for at least the coming weeks as CBC ramps up bottle distro.

Not sure on the dogs. These questions would be better suited for a Columbus specific thread, of which there are several. Good luck!

 

I had tickets to the release this past weekend and unfortuantely wasn't able to make it. Was working on a friends motorcycle at Mid-Ohio and before I realized it, it was too late to make it down. Oh well, I've wasted $6.17 on worse things.

Did get some EWS I7 from a local store in Cincy yesterday though.

 

I got my info from one of the brewers directly when chatting with him for a while. It may only be a a few weeks delayed from the sounds of it, ready when ready type of deal. They have yet to add all the secondary goodies, whichever those will be, for example.

 

Anyone know what the draft list is for Sunday? Can't find it on the Facebook page

So since the brew pub wasn't helpful, does anyone know if Konkey will make it to the brew pub after Sunday? Wanting to know since I will be going through the area the week after and want to grab a growler. I know no one will know for sure, but I was hoping someone knows history of releases at the brewery showing up at the brew pub on draft after. Let me know. Wish I could grab some Konkey

 

Generally only those cans that don't sell out at the brewery make it to the brewpub, and even then it is hit or miss. Some of the past few releases had plenty leftover but I don't know where that ended up going because I heard nothing about it showing up at the brewpub in can form.

If I may ask, how is the brewpub suppose to be helpful if they cannot truly give a definite answer?

It seems as though kegs have been making it from Marengo to the brewpub. I know Koffury, Idaho 7, South of Eleven, Wangbar, and maybe others have been offered at the downtown location. KD could very well make it to the brewpub, but likely not until the Wednesday after the Marengo release.
