Heaven forbid people discuss something on a discussion board.

I'd love to see some new glassware. I missed out on the metallic and colored tekus.

They just announced they're swapping ACE for the IPA at this release. We did it?

So much for strolling in at noon.

Fuck. I'm not even that much of a fan of All Citra Everything. It's a good beer, but it's underwhelming when you consider how good the regular single-hopped citra IPA is. I was looking forward to a low stress release, and this just threw a stick in our spokes.

I agree. Still think this shouldn't be a complete disaster though.

I like regular OH IPA - but I also don't like hazy, soft, "crushable", juicy IPAs that are all the rage nowadays. If I want an IPA (and its not the majority of the time) I want dank, pine and some bitterness - like a traditional West coast IPA.

I like my IPAs to be somewhere in the middle. I don't want them to be super abrasive, grassy/pine bombs...but I don't want them to be too "soft" either. That's why I prefer OH over Grimm, really. They've hit a nice balance between abrasive and "soft", particularly with some of their newer IPAs (No Layups, Motueka+Galaxy, Make It Rain, 2nd Anniversary, etc.).

I still haven't had ACE. From what I've seen, it draws a crowd. From what I've heard, it's not amazing. What gives? Is it because it's All ___ Everything?

anything brewed with citra adds to the hype... I didn't dig all citra everything.

I am definitely looking forward to double mosaic and magic green over all citra.

I'm still strolling in at noon, as I'm in town to pick up my Threes purchase. If anything is still available at that time, yay me.

Ugh.... I didn't want the IPA and I don't want the ACE. Was looking forward to the calm release.

All I want is some some Double Mosaic Dream! ACE is cursed for me, i've gotten in line twice for it and walked away empty handed.

Understandable, I'm gonna sit this one out though. I've gotten spoiled by showing up in the afternoon to grab cans. I'll wait for the next release depending on what it is.

I'm with @Comparison_Ford on this one. ACE is a good beer but nothing special and definitely not near the top of the ranks of the best beers OH is producing. Maybe it's newbies that are going bananas of it because Citra is the only hop they're familiar with?

I have only had ACE once and it was decidedly underwhelming to me. I miss OH single hop IPAs.

How many cases of cans does Other Half usually yield on their releases?

I feel like its around 250, but looks like Citra is only 100. Kanger is probably the best to answer this one.

I love ACE and DMD, sad to miss this release but will drown sorrows in the beers of Montreal and look for growlers on return.
