Just curious as I have to go to Cincy to go home next week, which place in Cincy gets cans and when? Might have to wait till that day to go home haha

 

Cappy's Wine & Spirits in Loveland. I hate to burst your bubble, but they usually don't get the big releases like Roller Blabe, Dragonsaddle, South of Eleven, and Konkey Dong. but you never know. They get most of the EWS stuff and the off the wall stuff. They release Jacuzzerooski at 4 pm tomorrow. I don't think they mentioned limits yet. There are limits. Give their twitter a follow if you want to know the details.

 

Hoof has expansion plans.

Did nobody notice the new 30-bbl tank on Sunday? Replacing a 7-bbl one...

 

I might agree that the first batch (before canning) of SoE may have been their best beer. Put it this way, I stood in the Daily Growler trying to decide if I still wanted the Bodhi I drove there for (still did FWIW). Anyway, I was at the second canning because of it.

 

So saw on their Instagram but they have a new IPA out at the brew pub called tickling the ivories. Anyone have?

 

That is not true at all. I got Roller Blabe, South of Eleven, and Konkey Dong from Cappy's.

They generally get a small amount of all of them. They got a little more EWS I7 than the other releases though.

They generally have a 2 can limit for the big releases and a 4 pack for the smaller releases.

 

The best beer from Hoof Hearted was and always will be the Double Dry Hopped Amarillo Wangbar. Nothing can beat the Wang.

 

They used to get them. They didn't get Koffury, the latest batch of Roller Blabe, or the lastest batch of South of Eleven. They got them earlier this year, that is true. They used to get every single release and a lot of it. They don't anymore. I'm just saying, don't expect it but watch out for it on their Twitter.

 

I tried it this weekend. It was my favorite offering they had on draft the day I was there. I haven't had the most Hoof IPAs, but the taste seemed pretty well in line with those that I have consumed and I preferred it to the two most recent hoppy can releases.

If anyone would like to go for me and get me two of the three 4 packs, i would be down for that haha. In all honesty, thats cool they have 50 more sets!

 

First time going for me this weekend. Is this a cash only event? And what time do most people go? Do the draft offerings ever run out?

 

Plastic is fine. The later you go, the less crowded it will be. The draft offerings do occasionally run out.

Can someone going tomorrow ask a bartender/brewer for the schedule during the coming weeks? I normally relay this type of information, but I can't make the KD release.
