Another Beer Geek Nation fan here.

I also love anything where craft beer enthusiasts do blind taste tests of macro brews. It's funny seeing what the absence of labels do to people.

While I love some of the shows, I cant help but love watching drunk people fail. I know not very relevant on this thread, but if you are having a bad day, do yourself a favor.

William Geist. He's funny, and I think he gives a lot of thought to the beer he's reviewing.

I've only recently started watching youtube beer shows. The ones that I have so far enjoyed are TheBeerDiaries (Canadian dude travelling to major US craft breweries, especially in Colorado and Texas, plus some action in Belize of all places) and The Craft Beer Channel (Two British dudes, reviewing beers, educating on beer and travelling to cool festivals in the UK and abroad).

Yeah, he seems like a nice chap and I really enjoy his enthusiasm. The Brad guy, albeit clearly less knowledgeable, is also kinda amusing to watch/listen to.

Gregsbeerrevews are the best hands down. Honest, lengthy and detailed. O and he actually finishes his beer before making a Judgement unlike Chris from beergeeknation who takes one sip and then is able to explain the beer from font to back with his robotic responses, then gives it a letter grade shortly after.

I get second hand embarrassment when the Darwin's Beer Reviews guy swirls his Teku, shoves his nose down in it pretty hard, then says "oh yeah that's nice"

Because it's the same review, over, and, over, and, "oh, yeaaaaaah"

I agree. I honestly cannot stand Darwin. Don't get me wrong, he seems like a super nice guy, but he just comes across as pretentious as hell and uses the same robotic phrases and descriptions for almost every beer. Again, no real hate towards the guy, but his reviews feel so forced and exhausting.

I throw my hat in with Beer Geek Nation.

I get the impression that the Beer Geek Nation guy knows what he's going to say before he films it. I think he pours, smells, and tastes the before ahead of time and then spits out his quick review. He generally doesn't even take more sips on camera. Not a fan of this style.

Greg on the other hand opens, pours, smells, and tastes the beer on camera and we get his legitimate immediate reactions. Then he comes back and finishes the beer and gives a final thoughts. Greg is THE MAN.

Darwin does the same thing. He mentioned in a recent video that it was his 3rd take. I dont really have an issue with it. I hate the longer reviews.

Bro, come on. I love Greg too, partly for the novelty factor, but who has time to watch him spend 30 minutes saying the same thing about the beer over and over again with almost zero editing? It takes him 10 minutes to even crack the beer!

Beer Geek Nation gets the point across quickly and succinctly, the format is YouTube, not a movie theater.

My critique of Beer Geek Nation is that he's not quite critical enough, but granted, that can be difficult since he's consistently reviewing pretty sought after and high quality beers.

But I also do look at Beer Geek Nation, Joe Senigaglia and now Behind the Bar sometimes.
