To say it is bad on their part for for not reimbursing you for paying more than the retail price embodies what is disappointing in this community. Oh yea, I forgot- you needed gas money, too.

I'm sorry that you don't believe in refunds. Most reputable businesses do.

You're an idiot. Double MSRP is what most of the retailers were selling Prop for. Goose could set the MSRP for a dollar, that isn't the price people are paying.

Yes, because that is what he said, that he doesn't believe in refunds:confused: Don't forget to sue for the aggravation of this thread when you and @amsguitarist file your lawsuits:wink:

I'm sorry your state didn't sell Prop, no need to be angry at those who got it.

Really? Provide some sort of documentation to support this claim that "most reputable businesses" do refunds beyond the MSRP. Thanks!

Haha I don't wait on lines so I wouldn't have bought it anyway, I laugh at those who paid that much after waiting in lines to get.. Got all my Regal and Regular easy peasy and not a bottle infected. I am just here to watch the spoiled folks complain that they aren't gonna get a written apology with their refunds.

My BC regulars have all been great so far, although I've found the 14.3% batch to be more robust than the 13.7%.

    Rare 15
on the other hand tasted like barrel aged cherry juice, such a waste, I'm still incredibly pissed, bottle was stamped 21SEP15 1503. Sent Goose Island multiple emails, got the regular "we found no issues" reply and that was it.

I was supposed to go to a Music festival in Austin that got cancelled three hours before the gates opened. We were told full refunds in 30 days, it ended up being like 70 days. I was amazed by how many people were asking the organizers to pay interest or their airfare.

Was MSRP on Prop really only $15? For some reason I thought it was somewhere around $25 or so, same price point as Regal.

I think they upped the refund amount to $25 on revised form.

This is just lovely, of course I opened three infected bottles in the last month or so. And of course I recycled the bottles like any sane human. With the denying and claims earlier that only the others were infected I figured to drink them now before they get worse. Well the jokes on me, none of them were drinkable and now I get no refunds. I have one bottle now to claim a refund with. And im an idiot who never even claimed my two barleywines.

The people who are actually being made right in this case are going to be the hoarders. People who had little intention of drinking what they purchased within the year, instead aging or holding on to it for the occasion. Anyone who actually drank the beer are SOL.

So, anyone who bought a bunch of Regular to drink over a period of 5-ish years is a hoarder? I bought a bunch, and I began drinking them this year - it's my favorite beer (besides '14 Prop), so it's pretty nice to be able to have one every month (give or take) over a 5 year period. I don't consider that hoarding at all, especially since it's known to age well (when not infected ).

I didn't open a Regular until after all the infection talk popped up, so I figured it made good sense to take pictures of my bottles in case they were off. Anyone who knew of all the infection talk and had a bad bottle, but chose not to keep record of that bottle somehow, was not acting prudently IMO.
