People come from Jersey to every OH release and start bottle sharing at 5am (against OH and local wishes). When you go to those lengths, you need to step back and reevaluate your life because you're just a degenerate loser.

Just left HA. Got there right at noon. No line. No bottle limit. Bottles are only available from fridge. There is nothing on the floor. They did say that there was a long line this morning that wrapped around the block.

Yes, it's quite refreshing for a DIPA. Nice tropical fruits flavored and real smooth aftertaste. It's very easy to drink. That's my brief analysis from the sample in their store. Will get a better idea this evening when I open up the howler.

Had a burrito and a pint on tap. Very nice beer. It has the distinct half acre house taste. Hides the abv very well. I could drink many of these!

Only had a sample at HA, but as has already been said, it tastes like a DIPA, but doesn't smack you in the face with it. Nice citra flavor to it.

I grabbed a bomber, and actually grabbed a howler of Cuda, because I was pretty impressed by it. Given that I love BHA because of the combo of citra hops and vienna malt, clearly I'm a sucker for hybrid American-German style beers.

At the taproom right now working on Freedom of 78. Tap room not overcrowded (but seats full) and no line for to-go

Very good DIPA as other has noted. Left taproom at 5:45pm - plenty of bombers left and no lines.

I picked up a half growler and a couple bombers around 4:30 - no line at all. I am not terribly impressed by it. It's certainly drinkable and not bad, but nothing to get too excited about.

Yeah I got a bomber at 630 and not many were left. Despite the no limit, I will assume they just didn't have all that many to begin with (relatively). Had it on draft, solid DIPA but not spectacular

My guess is they ran out of bottles due to a smaller batch and the fact that some people were going way over the standard 4 bottle allotment for HA 'special' releases. A guy behind me at the check out counter grabbed a full dozen, and a guy in front of had 6. Definitely not being judgmental (there was no limit), but just pointing out why they might have run out of bottles sooner than normal for these kinds of releases.

I had wondered if they didn't have as much as well because they were sending a decent amount to NYC?

Keep in mind this stuff will be distributed, so you can still track down this insta-whale in the coming week.

I had assumed it would as well based on other beers, but do we know for sure that it's hitting retail? I can recall if it was explicitly stated, or if it we just figured it was going to be.

They mentioned on the Facebook or the Instagram that bottles are not being distro'd but draft is. So I suppose check your local watering hole?

Yeah I also heard when I was there that they didn't make a whole lot of this.

At the brewery today, I inquired as to the no distro statement and was told that the majority of this brew was kegged. Only 130 cases were bottled. Many of the kegs are headed to NY, simply due to the OH connection.
