So on Sunday July 24th I'm planning on taking a trip to one or two of the wonderful breweries up north ( treehouse, nightshift, alchemist, bissell brothers, trillium, etc.) What's my best chance of cans/bottles at any one of these respective breweries?

You should probably start by taking a look at the websites of the breweries you would like to visit. Tree House, Alchemist and Trillium are all closed on Sundays. Bissell is open but usually doesn't have cans available. Night Shift will be open and selling cans.

That's an awful lot of driving for one day?

Not enough information is here. Most of the breweries you listed are closed from Sunday-Tuesday/Wednesday (except Trillium). I am doing a roadtrip to Portland via TH, Trillium and NightShift as well. But on this Thursday and stay there till Monday.

Idle Hands and Aeronaut are a few other breweries in the area that are open Sundays and worth checking out.

Depending on the distribution status you might be able to find Trillium at a few liquor stores. When they were bottling the hoppy stuff there were weekly drops but since the switch to cans no stores have received any deliveries. Keep and eye here to see if that changes, or check back in before the day and see if anyone has spotted any bottles remaining on shelves.

If you decide to go to Night Shift there are several other Sunday brewery options within a 15 min drive (in addition to the previously mentioned Aeronaut and Idle Hands): Cambridge Brewing Company (bottles and cans available), Bantam Cider (bottles and cans available), Slumbrew Taproom (probably cans available), and Lord Hobo Brewery (cans available).

Aeronaut has crowlers and may still have cans from their recent canning runs. Double check if you are headed to Idle Hands they haven't yet started selling beer to go after their reopening but that situation may change by the 24th.

When I was in the Main Street Gordon's in Waltham on Wednesday, they had bottles of Sunshower, Scaled, and Sleeper that I know have been hanging around for a few weeks from early June bottlings.

The Asbury Park Festhall has half price liters Happy Hour and they have a tremendous beer selection. I like Bond Street in Asbury. Give Jug Handle and Little Dog a visit.

In asbury, Brickwall tavern has a great tap list and really good food, and porta has amazing pizza. The beer there is kinda meh (they do almost always have Kane head high on tap though) but definitely worth checking out for the food.
