Getting off-topic, but yes on the dialect. The Quebecois I bottle-shared with said they've traveled to France and spoke in French and the French couldn't understand them. The French got frustrated after 5 minutes and resorted to speaking in English so they could understand the Canadians (which the French hate), eh.

They still haven't mentioned pricing...that makes me think its stupid expensive. I'm guessing 49.99.

@BruerJoel - whats the cost on the new crystal glassware?

French Canadien vs French is very clearly illustrated in the Brotherhood of the Wolf if you speak French, depending on which version you watch. That's when I first became aware of it.

That was exactly my experience when I went to France. I tried really hard to speak native, and it just pissed them off even more.

It depends on where in Quebec too. Montreal French is definitely different than proper French but it's close enough that it shouldn't cause too many problems. Deep redneck Quebecois French though? Goooooooood luck.

Visited from AZ and this was on tap and LOVED it. Just wondering if anyone knew if this was for sure seeing distro, if so, has it hit shelves yet?

Patrick said a few pages back that most of the series would not see much distro, if at all.

Loved the Vue Exclusive last year, so I'm bummed that this year's Terre Sauvage falls on the same day as Festival of Dankness. Trying to convince the SO we can do a few hours are the FoD then drive up to Anaheim for the second session...

I have a question about visiting Bruery taprooms built out of ignorange, not malice.
I believe in other threads I've seen people discussing making arrangements with a Society member to have an opportunity to sample beers on a Society list. Is this accurate? I'm hoping to be visiting from Canada in a few months with friends and we're just trying to get a better understanding of how to best spend our limited time in Anaheim. Cheers!

Ya. I routinely buy for friends or nice random people I meet in the taproom beers off the reserve list.

I think you meant laziness, not malice?

If you check the tasting list menu: http://www.thebruery.com/tasting-room-list/, you'll note at the bottom that there are certain beers listed under Reserve or Hoarders Exclusive. If you want to try those, you'll need to make buddy's with someone in the club that will also be there. Otherwise, no need to meet up with anyone.

    Thanks all.

To clarify, what I was trying to say is that my question was meant to be a confirmation of what I believe I understood to be true, not an effort to be a hero who was circumventing convention.

I'll likely reach out to the community closer to our trip. I'm sure we would be happy to bring some brews down from Vancouver and/or picking up some tabs. We have a brewery here with a vaguely similar setup (Fellowship) bUT it's only for bottles not draught.

Hey man! I didn't take your message as lazy or with ill intent.

There have been some in this thread that have reached out to Hoarder/Society members for a tasting off of the different list. Honestly I think your best bet will be to enjoy your time at the Bruery with the crazy expansive tap list they have and make friends in the taproom. It's not uncommon to make a friend who happens to be in the Reserve/Hoarders that will happily help you out

While in the area I strongly encourage you to check out Noble Aleworks while in the area, always some great hoppy and unique beers. Enjoy the area and shoot me a message if you have any questions, cheers!

I was recently going through my beer catalog checking for infected bcbs due to the new refund and checked my mash too, and it is batch 224. @BruerJoel, has Bruery done any testing of this batch?

First person to post a pic of the snifter with a full 750mL poured and the empty bottle next to it gets beer advocate gold.

To some degree, I think the point of the large vessel is being lost. The point is to capture the nose of the beer.

Personally, I think someone who pours a full 750 into this snifter should be demoted to newbie.

I would definitely like to buy one, being a fan of The Bruery's big beers, but may not get to the tasting room before they sell out.
