Looks like I am heading up to Springfield NJ on Friday July 29th from Philly. What is around the course or along the ride to/from Philly?
I'll be there on Friday as well. Best bet for local liquor stores is ShopRite Liquors in Westfield on South Ave and Super Buy Rite on Route 22 W in North Plainfield - both are within 15 minutes or so. Also, depending on what time you leave Baltustrol, the only local brewery is Twin Elephant in Chatham which is probably only about 15 minutes away.
Pretty sure there are other "official" parking locations, and I know many residences and commercial zones that are charging for parking much closer than Clark. With that said, Paragon Tap & Table is a great craft bar in Clark.
I don't think you will be able to get very close to Baltustrol. Your best bet may be to park in Summit and catch a shuttle. There are 2 decent beer bars in Summit The Office and The Hat Tavern.
Last time I went to the PGA at Baltustrol there were plenty of people renting out space in their driveway,
This thread ins relevant to my interests. Going on Tuesday to a practice round, so all local small scale places are closed basically. Looking to score some Carton or other local stuff I can't get in PA/Philly.
If you have to park in Clark, then check out Paragon Tap and Table on Central Avenue. Also, The Station Bar in Garwood has a lot of good craft beer.
You should be able to snag Magnify Pollinator and Low Vis at the Bottle King in Chatham right next to Twin Elephant this weekend according to their FB.
