New production space. I think it is mostly barrels and the oak fermenters

I fully support Tired Hands' efforts to price the riff-raff out of bottle releases. By the time believers expires, anyone who can afford to spend hours in line won't be able to afford the bottles. Then my butler will complain less about being sent to buy them.

More seriously, how many coveted 750s go for $25 or more a pop? If they can sell those mediocre Cascade sours at bottle shops around here for $40+ a bottle, this hardly seems out of line price-wise. Like it or not, anything that has the words "sour," "barrel," and "fruit" in the description is going to fetch a Tubby at the absolute minimum. Put it in a 750 with a cork and cage and $25 is the low end of the price scale. Sure, we all wish every brewery was Cantillon, selling Fou Foune and Lou Pepe Framboise at the brewery for 12 Euro a pop, but that crap just doesn't fly over here.

yeah oat potion was $18 for a 500ml which equates to I think like $23.75 750ml... so $25 for this is roughly on par with that...This is however the most expensive bottle they have released since they have released bottles, i don't blame people for not wanting to drop that money on a beer. If I didn't have my 20% discount from membership i'm not sure I would buy it either... even with the 20% I had to think on spending the $20/btl

Now remember kids all this fruit isn't cheap...organic magically hipster fruit fetches a premium.

I personally am not going to get any for 25 a bomber. Im not going to complain that they are charging that either though, if people are paying it then I guess that's what it's worth.

Maybe everyone's problems with arithmatic are the cause of the negative vibes

my bad haha... put the ole numerator in the denominator.... Para3/Para4/Para5/FFtK/Pourison/Oat Potion were all $1.065/oz and Rustic Penta is $0.984/oz... look at that.. they are lowering their prices ! : ) everybody rejoice a ~7.6% savings when Comparing a $25/750ml to the $18/500ml releases

Really hoping the announcement is late or it'll be a surprise Thursday release and not a Friday.

I think we're looking at a crowded Friday release, regardless of the beer they'll put out.

Any thoughts on latest HopHands batch? I tried one last night. Won't hear any complaints from me.

I had HopHands at the Fermentaria on Sunday. I don't know what it tasted like before, but I loved it.

Great little place, loved the barbacoa tacos. Definitely would love to head out sometime again soon. Great atmosphere all around too.
