I rarely post in here anymore, but I had to show some love to Goose Island Four Star Pils. I know it's not cool to like GI, but I can't deny how much I love this pilsner.

Played Raven Nest GC in Huntsville, TX today ... got a friendly hello from a doe and her baby on No. 2 tee (photo is of the baby):

Drove by Bowers Stadium to see if the new fieldturf is finished ... it is and it's pretty shiny:

Nice! How is it tasting this year? Saw it at the store today and thinking about picking one one up.

 

Trying Sierra Nevada Beer Camp collaborative Pat-Rye-Ot Revolutionary Pale ale. An interesting lighter bodied pale ale that's brewed with apples as as one of the ingredients. Nice biscuity malt , west coast hops and a hint of rye spiciness on the finish. The finish is short and clean. An easy drinking, balanced APA that's different but good.

 

Its tasting nice, definetly worth picking one up, very sweet and chocolate forward

 

Drank, drank, drunk.... Good night BA's, and happy birthday to Mrs. Lingenbrau (the best assistant brewer anyone could ask for !) Cheers!
