I wish all breweries did 12 oz cans of all their offerings. I know it won't happen, but it would make it so much easier to have different beers in an evening.

I just pretend my 16 oz and 12 oz cans are all the same.

Yea i wouldn't mind 12oz cans either, but then breweries would probably charge the same anyway so I'll be happy with the 16oz offerings

But its listed as Gose on both BA and beermenus. Also, how is it not gose? Its salty, its sour, only pine needles are missing (and may be Leipzing salty water).

gose is a wheated beer with coriander that is slightly sour and salty. american gose is more sour version often without coriander. this is riced beer very lightly sour with salted cherry blossoms.
i don't mind people calling it whatever they need to but just because a beer is salted does not make it a gose. and calling this a gose is building an expectation this beer does not intend.
some flavors develop over time and temp changes; like bitter and hop born fruit aromatics in IPAs/pales so the 16 oz format is better suited to move through that spectrum. other flavors like salt stay static through those temp/time moves so 12oz is better suited to tasting and resetting

I leave for vacation in Brigantine Saturday. Rolled the dice on fresh Boat this weekend, and then Carton pulls a double new can release last weekend! Crazy pants. Pray for me, fellow BAs . . . I'll have to drown myself in Monkey and Sakura if they don't drop today.

Saw a huge stack of empty boat cans in the brewery yesterday, so you guys may be in luck.

Got to try Sakura which is awesome. Nice and tart with that salty punch, really surprised how much I liked this one. Ended up leaving with a few 4 packs. Are these salted cherry blossoms expensive?

Also El Dorado Dub was fantastic, feel like I say this everytime I try a new one. Added a little candied fruit aroma to the already tropical base beer.
