For onsite definitely check off as many BA Framinghammers as you can handle. I also try whatever 3X dry hopped Hoponius Union is on whenever I'm in there.

I'd suggest trying a lot onsite to help you decide about to-go.

I would avoid BA Framinghammers. If you're ABV-constrained these will finish you off too quickly, and the variants are a bit more acquired tastes.... I found a couple types to be nice but others were gross, and none as good as the original.

Hoponius is great. I love their Pilsner. German IPL and Pilot Amber Lager sound interesting.

I'm not familiar with these ABV constraints of which you speak, haha. But that's a good call. If I had to narrow it down, I'd give the original and either coffee or vanilla a try.

If they have 3X dry hopped Hoponius on tap, have that, and if they have Excess cans to go, get those. The BA Framinghammers are also excellent, but as suggested above, probably better to buy bottles than have them on-site.

Im at the brewery right now, the hoppy beers are a little bit underwhelming than I thought but these Framinghammers are amazing. Should try more of them!

Really sad they're not having this in Framingham.

Wanted to say I am a big big fan of the Beer Geek Helles collab with NEBCO! Grabbed a 4-pk Friday to keep me company while smoking a few brisket's and I liked it so much I went back to the brewery first thing Sat. AM and got a few growlers and additional cans for a cookout.
We had a beer loving crowd and most agreed it was solid, and perfect on such a hot day! I look forward to enjoying a few more cans before they are gone that is for damn sure!

Considering the amount of Framinghammers on tap, I'm pretty happy I'll be able to take public transportation home :stuck_out_tongue:

Is there anywhere in Framingham with 50 taps?

No, but who says they all have to be on at once? Why not put 25 on at a time at the Beer Hall?

No idea - maybe they're not confident that they can support the crowds or they have a special relationship with the Meadhall.... I'm indifferent - I live in Boston, but I'm not a fan of Meadhall.

With the commuter rail stop so close to the new brewery and the huge footprint, hopefully they can throw something together onsite for future anniversaries.

While there is not a specific anniversary event at the brewery we try to keep several lines full with our specialty releases throughout the year. At the moment we have 5 BA Framinghammers, Brewery Maker and a Sour on tap. We do not have enough tap lines to do something huge like this at the brewery but we are trying to keep it going smaller scale year-round.

Has anybody else tried their blood orange lager (forget the name)? I am generally very opposed to the idea of fruit in beer but its by and large one of the most refreshing beers I've ever drank in my life. And the orange is balanced and restrained which is nice. Absolutely recommend.

I had the Blood Orange Leisure Time (BOLT) a few months ago and it was a nice refreshing beer with subtle orange flavor. I liked it better at the brewery than when I got home, but it was good to have around for a gathering with people who like something a little light and fruity.

Has anyone else gotten to try Graham Cracker Framinghammer? Cause it's really good. We're talkin' Cocoa-Nut and Mole tier good. Definitely worthy of the bottle treatment.
