Official reading from QC is now 3.1. Website is usually always correct.

It's time to let you all in on a little secret. The 500 mL exclusive bottle release at Short's Fest 2016 will be Creamiest of the Peach, an amped up version of Peaches and Cream brewed with fresh peaches, lactose, lemon oil, and vanilla. Early Bird ticket holders (4:00 pm entry) will all receive a bottle and a limited number will be available for sale at 5:00 pm. *while supplies last*

I wonder if I saw this one being brewed at the pub last Friday. I don't know when in the process the lactose is added, but I was taking my oldest to the bathroom and showed him the tanks through the glass door. Someone just happened to be adding lactose to the tank at that time. I thought it might have been Key Lime at the time, could still have been.

Does lactose in a beer like this provide the same flavor as it does in a milk stout?

No Spruce Pilsner yet. I believe @ScottatShorts mentioned a little while ago it wouldn't be ready till late, which is why they debated even brewing it this year. I've been tracking the tap list for the last few weeks, and haven't seen it on there.

If you're a sports and Short's fan, check out the BeachBums in Traverse City. I love minor league ball, and have had to hit a couple games a few years ago. This year, I was pleased to see Short's presence as major sponsor. From the drink holders :

    To the biergarten

To a mini pub featuring draft options and food, and a Starcut Shack

Pretty cool to see a local favorite sponsoring a team.

Spruce Pilsner was just bottled today and posted on their Instagram account. Said to look for it next week in stores.

Will Spruce Pilsner and Key Lime Pie be Michigan only beers or make it to other states?

I doubt Spruce will make it out. Very limited, this year.

I emailed Binnys here in Chicago, he replied that they should have it in a couple of weeks. That could just be an assumption on their part that they can get it however. I will be keeping my fingers crossed
