Since those appear to be standard SN (capped) bombers, anyone know what the crown looks like for this BA Bigfoot?

well. technically they are not standard 'bomber' size. these are 24oz bottles.

My parenthesis made my meaning less clear: the standard SN bomber size.

Hope those packs show up here. Considering the standalone BA Bigfoot bottles ran ~$20 (750ml vs. 24oz), $30 and including 3 other SN specialty bombers is pretty fair.

Consider it a tradeoff for the ridiculous CA cost-of-living/tax structure.

The Costco in my market is priced great, but a really weak selection usually

not beers but beer related, saw these in the local today. aside from that the only sort of attractive thing i noticed, they still had 2013 & 2014 Old Stock CR Bourbon & Rye bottles which those have been languishing roughly 2 months @ $17.99 per.

The idea of Costco selling beer is just so foreign to those of us living in Saudi Ara...... I mean Pennsylvania.

Costco in West Des Moines still has cases of The Beer Camp series. 45.99 per case.

I live in Cotsco's HQ's backyard. It galls me when I read what's obtainable from their stores in Cali and we get same-old same-old in our stores.

Check the laws in your state. Might not be Costcos fault. There are a lot of Costcos in Denver, but State law only allows one to sell alcohol.

A couple of years ago Costco lead a very expensive campaign to change WA state law to allow them (and other grocers) to sell hard alcohol. Costco could always sell wine and beer in WA. Unfortunately, like @rronin said, the beer selection sucks***.

***Edit: Except I will admit I did recently pick up a case of bale breakers top cutter for 25$ At my local Costco. I wish they also was selling field 41, as well. But, still no where near the quality finds posted about other Costcos.

i'm not sure what the deal is. i would guess maybe wholesale pricing up there keeps them limited on selection?

2-3 months back i was at my local, there were 3 guys w/ a shopping cart full of Oban 14 single malt, which was on-sale. they had at least 20 canisters in the basket. i pointed out Lagavulin 16 was also on sale for $55 & to my great dismay, they claimed they were wholly unfamiliar with it. to me, 20+ bottles of Oban = you've at least heard of Lagavulin but anyway, when i asked where they were from they indicated they were visiting from WA. when i asked the obvious -- you're hauling all this back to Costco headquarters?? they said there was nothing remotely close to what they were witnessing there.

At least in WI, the deals usually better than what I could get at some of my local liquor and grocery stores..

Costco and Beer should never be used in the same sentence. LOL

Should be coming back at some point. It was never intended to be a full-time item. Mixed 10-packs are our year round mixed pack.

Yikes. Lagavulin 16 is $101.63 here ($81.99 + tax). Even with our crazy liquor tax, that's a huge price difference.
