Hanssens Oude Gueuze bottling date?

    Anyone know how to tell how old my bottle is? It is notched "lotnr D" on the side of the label. Nothing else on the bottle, label, or cork that I can find. Couldn't find any info on line. Any help would be appreciated.

    Never been able to find anythiing online. But one bit of information that may help a wee bit. The bottle I bought in Nov of last year says its Lotnr G. So if we assume mine was the most recent release it seems possible to assume yours was released about 3 years before...

    reviewed, just this month, a bottle from Lotnr E that s/he had cellered for 2 years.

    So if I had to bet I'd bet yours is from the release of about 3 years ago.

    Thanks for the help. Looks like we all came to the same approximate conclusion. A release from about 3 years ago would be great. Looks like I'll have to try one of them now and see how it is.
