So I couldn't find a thread where someone has done this before, but something I always enjoy. What brewer/beer has the best bottle cap in your opinion or most unique? I just find it awesome when a brewery has a sweet cap, my favorites go to Bruery and Three Floyds, but not sure what else is out there.

Some may find this dumb, and sorry, just something I enjoy aside from everything else about craft beer.

When I saw this thread title I instantly thought "The Bruery", but since that has already been said I'll have to throw hopslam in the mix

gotta say, I love the FFF caps, but that might be because of the liquid in the bottle.

Ayinger Oktoberfest cap is pretty sweet. sorry no pic, but still pretty awesome.

Every time these threads pop up, the first thing that comes to my mind is Ayinger Oktoberfest. Great cap.

I glued some bottle caps on the audio control nobs and cigarette lighter in my car. I've got mostly ones already mentioned. Cantillon, Hopslam, FFF, but also DFH Palo Santo Marron, which works really well for something that is rotating.

I take bottle caps and glue magnets to them to make, guess, bottle cap magnets. Stolen idea from Lagunitas. I do like the lagunitas bottle caps just because dogs are cool, stone has a variety that makes it interesting. those mentioned already are way better though

First two posts sum it up for me. The Bruery, 3 Floyds, and the Cantillon caps were the first three that came to mind.

Had one of these today: Ayinger Oktoberfest.

EDIT: Beat me to it! (didn't see that before posting)
But it appears the cap has also changed, I took my photo just minutes ago.

I do the same thing, but I stole the idea from terrapin. What kind of glue do you use? I've tried both super glue and hot glue, but neither seem to hold as well as I would like them to.

I like the Hopslam cap. I also think that Duck Rabbit Caps are pretty unique.

    No contest...
Sure Cantillon is classic and classy. Three Floyds is cool, but nothing beats these beauties. Have them on my fridge as magnets. Found some pictures.

I think the one I posted came from all bottles at one point. Now there's the actual brewery name on many bottlecaps instead. I'll have to compare next time at the store. I know a local place that has old stock collecting dust. :-)

I've noticed on recent batches of Ayinger year-round releases this year that they're moving away from the caps with just their name like these: [IMG]
to caps with this design: [IMG]

AFAIK, the caps with the scene with the folks sitting at a table enjoying a fine brew have been just for their Oktoberfest. I could be wrong though as I've only been paying attention to these for the past few years. Regardless, they're great caps. A nice 'lil work of art.
