Excited for the canned Pompeii next fall! It'll be nice to pick up 4 packs of that mosaic goodness!

 

Every HyVee and maybe WineStyles? Not sure of the most recent canning date though.

 

Does anyone know what happened to Chad? He hasn't answered his phone in two weeks and I saw a job posting for a delivery driver.

Sad part is we have been for awhile in the Milwaukee area. Last Sue cans were from 6/1. You are right, this is just going to make it worse.

I was only able to get a xhops silver and a mosaic dry hopped psuedosue. Was really after a 4 pack of cans.

Did visit 515 brewing and the bait shop. Brought home a growler of OJ and 32 of the basil protocol. Picked up some surly citra pale amount others.

 

"Only"? I'd say you did pretty good by getting limited release TG Beers that are actually brewed in Iowa!

 

You're not missing much, the 7/5 batch of Sue cans isn't up to par IMHO. On the other hand, the SuMo is fantastic!

 

Don't sound so disappointed. Plenty of people drive an hour across the boarder for TG only to not get bombers like XHOPS & DDH Sue. I've never had either of those & would be extremely satisfied to have acquired what you did. 90% of the time you can grab a 4pk of PsuedoSue whenever you feel like it and can ask a friend/someone to pick some up for you with a higher success rate than asking a friend/someone to pick you up somewhat limited TG bombers. You'll have Sue in your glass a lot sooner than you'll ever have XHOPS & DDH Sue in your glass again. Cheers.

Myself and @Hopgoddess312 are headed out there on Saturday. What's this Nordic Fest all about? Anything different or special going on for it?

 

Oof - Nordic Fest is a big deal round these parts. Saturday is going to be a mess! TG (and every bar in town) will be mobbed with folks. It's a good time if you want to walk around a large festival and eat loads of delicious/seasonally inappropriate Scandinavian food. But if beer is your focus maybe try and come to town on Sunday if at all possible...

 

Canned Pompeii? Is this another Florida TG output, or are they going to be canning in Decorah?

 

Unless some massive changes have come, they don't have the capacity to can in Decorah.

 

If next fall means 2017 then who knows, but I hope Decorah. If it means literally the next upcoming fall then it has to be FL.
