Another amazing box, this one from @andreizm. Lot's of focus on some newly added wants.

Starting with the smaller bottles.

Drake's - Denogginizer. Great beer
Russian River - Temptation. I really enjoy the RR sours.
Smog City - Cuddlebug. New brewery for me. I've been watching them for awhile, really looking forward to checking it out.
Toolbox - Das Froot. Another new brewery, that I'm looking forward to trying.
Russian River. Pliny. Always happy to get a Pliny.
Lost Abbey - Framboise De Amorosa. A very newly added Want.
Prairie - Birthday Bomb. Another newly added Want.
Coronado - Easy Up Pale. New one for me.

The larger bottles.

2 X mystery beers. Will be opened soon.
Fieldwork Brewing - Golden Rule Crowler(Double IPA). First time hearing of this brewery. Excited to try.
Rare Barrel - Wise Guise. I've been wanting to try Rare Barrel for a long time. Very excited.
The Bruery - Chocolate Salty BBLS. Another newly added want.
Rare Barrel - Forces Unseen. See above
FiftyFifty - Eclipse(purple or lavender)? Either way, I'm going to really enjoy it.


Fieldwork Brewing shirt. The shirt is great. I'll get a lot of use out of it.

Glad it all made it there safely! Eclipse is lavender, which means Coffee.

 

Did a little looking and found that somehow I didn't have anything from Rare Barrel on my wants list. I don't know how or why, but that will be changed. Glad to get a few to be able to check them out.

 

Pretty sure that one was a Dry-Hopped one, but pretty much the same beer, nonetheless.

 

Thanks @Homebrew, I got my new shirt! Fits perfect and kept me cool in line at 2nd Shift release yesterday. I did get a sunburn as you can see though.

 

Figured it would take a little longer, kinda spoils the surprise!! The other shirt should be there soon too!!

 

Great call on Fieldwork - these guys are awesome, and NorCal boxes should include one, well done @andreizm, representing!

Ha, I assumed you'd do the blind ones first and then enjoy revisiting them after, but your way works! Love alter ego, but my girlfriend swears she prefers Julius by a lot...I think they taste the same.

I prefer Julius as well. Even more than Jjjuliusss, although I enjoy them all except Bright. Had it twice and it just didn't do it for me.

5 total cameras, agreed, must be a photographers. 6 countries and 16 days. I'll guess 4,000 but I'm thinking more than that.

 

I don't have one. I can get an OK amount going, but it never is full and well, I don't like the grey on my chin.

Did a blind taste on Slack Saturday afternoon... Can courtesy of @beluga92 of course... I wrote "turbid, beautiful color. Tons of hop smell. Taste is full, lots of citrus/juicy hop in the front. Seems a little higher ABV than the cans I've had from him so far. Tastes like Trillium and not TH. Doesn't taste like the DH Mosaic Fort Point. I'm guessing a Trillium IPA, maybe a stronger DIPA?"

Overall, I thought the Mettle was excellent. Tried it yesterday side-by-side with Heavy Mettle and I prefer the regular, seemed to have much more hop aromas and flavors. My craftwife preferred the Heavy, probably because it was boozier

 

Damn, that is an excellent send!

I know when I've bought Eclipse bottles the past couple years, the Elijah Craig bottles had a lavender wax and the Java bottles had a lavender wax with little flecks of silver in there. Both are great!

 

Packing boxes now, My BIF and GIF will go out tomorrow.
