Great release today and so refreshing not to see a parade of chairs or line cutting. And no nonsense with talks about returning from the future. Oh wait....sorry.... I thought I was posting in a thread on Forest and Main release today. Never mind, please continue.

So I'll go to BA for advice, just realized now that I was given 4 4-packs of sensless and scentsless and 2 4-packs of pinch off. Instead of the 3 and 3 that I asked for and was allowed. I really prefered pinch off and now I'm basically out since two of the four packs were for friends. What say you BA? Call and see if by chance they held onto some cans for themselves to swap? This happen to anyone else ever.

I think you're SOL. Next time check your merchandise before you leave. Love and learn. In the meantime, enjoy the beer. How bad could the other four pack be?

You may be out of luck but I'd say it's worth a shot. It's their bad mostly (with a little bit of your own mixed in) but you could get lucky.

I agree can't hurt to ask it's a good problem to have to be stuck with tired hands four pack though.

Yeah I thought I'd like the other better but definitely prefer senseless.

You should bitch and complain as much as you can and possibly throw some personal insults at Jean. I mean, this is the Tired Hands thread after all...

Almost didn't buy any - but really glad I did. I remember being under impressed with it when I it was on at the Ferm last year. I wonder if they made changes to the recipe

It's just beer. Suck it up and take it as a learning experience...

I like Pinch Off the Dead Parts but it's definitely unique. It tastes spicy as advertised and those flavors overpower the expected IPA and it's refreshing.

As for mixed up beers, it has happened to me but I noticed before I left. At least the two beers were the same price and you'll find something to do with 4 extra.

You can probably find a 1:1 IP trade pretty easily.

Tap list right now is, interesting. Not the strongest showing I've seen from them. A lot of Brett and Saison. Brought six growlers and only filled four. The DIPA they have right now, Original Idea, conditioned on coffee and cocoa nibs and hopped well is really good. The Black and Tan with that and No Such Thing As An Original Idea was stupid good...

I agree. It seems like there have been some low abv brett beers lately and in my not-expert opinion they seem to stick around longer than the average beer so maybe they aren't popular. Original Idea is killer.

Anyone ever have the oak aged Alien Church (collab with Jolly Pumpkin)? Had it tonight at my local taproom. Tasted nothing like Alien Church. Pretty disappointing.

It's more of a Jolly Pumpkin collab with Tired Hands. Brewed at JP, so it exhibits that house character. Think of it more as a hoppy JP beer.
