There are so many great ones to name, but the highlights for me in recent years are: FO (b1), BAA, DBH, Rusty Nail, GNVP, BAVSS, and Good Morning.

For a straight BA, non-adjunct stout: Parabola and Fremont Kentucky Dark Star.

Incredible BA stout, unfortunate that no one knows much about Siren Craft and the bottle art was confusing, but zowie what a delecious complex beast. I bought a bottle, left it in the cellar for a while and when I tried it immediately drove back and bought out the stores supply it was still on the shelf, just an unfortunate combination of unknown brewer and poor label art, and highish price ($15 or so) for 16oz.
Have an extra bottle if a worthy trade were to be dangled.

You should hit me up. I have some from a few years. I like the vintage better, but this year killed it with PB&J, Coffee and Mole IMO.

To add something different from the other side of the pond: Old Chimneys Good King Henry Imperial Stout (if you like them on the sweeter side).

This sounds real good. Based on reviewer locations it appears it is distributed along the US right coast. Anyone know whether it is distributed in the central US?

So in November 2015 I picked up a four pack of Sierra Nevada Narwhal (bottled Oct. 18, non-BA). I stashed them on the bottom shelf of the 'fridge and forgot about them. I cracked one open tonight and OMG,. what a delicious brew!

I just picked up a growler of Omnipollo's Symzonia last night, and it was very good. In addition to the requisite roasted malt goodness (a tasty blend of chocolate/molasses/toffee) there was an interesting spicy/dark herbal character kicking around (touched on licorice, fennel seed and cinnamon) that made it stand out. Balance-wise it worked out to be just a bit on the sweet side, and the mouthfeel was excellent: thick, sticky and creamy. For a 13% beer it drank smoothly (definitely warming but that alcohol flavors were quite subdued), but it was kegged last October, so there you go.

Oh, and it was expensive as hell- almost twice what I would expect to pay for a fill of an imperial stout.

Any other stouts that I would list have been mentioned at least a dozen times.
