B3 Balaton. Pretty mind blowingly good. @StrongRepublican may have some thoughts as well.

Sewer water, better give them all to me for proper disposal :sunglasses:

But seriously though, it's fantastic, better than b1 was out of the gate for sure. b3 is drinking right now like b1 was drinking two or three months ago and I can only imagine what a little bit of time will do to it. I need moar!

Totally agree on BalaTres, my favorite Casey fruit I've had to date.

Is anyone else as stoked as I am for a new batch of (hopefully properly carb'd) ApriCut?

Never got a chance to try the B1 Apricot FS, which is the favorite fruited Casey of many fanboys. Looking forward to B2.

Include me on the list of Casey fanbois who consider Apricot FS their favorite Casey beer...

My wife and I are headed to Denver for 5 days, spending Friday in Glenwood Springs. Can't wait to drink my first (Casey) Leaner!

Apricot fruit stand was so good, I still have 2 left. I'm hoping my next trip coincides with more Apricot beers. I had such high hopes for Apricot cut. I still enjoyed it, but it with some carb that would be a knockout for me.

Apricots seem to be a temperamental fruit when it comes to beer. They can range from very sweet, to puckeringly tart, to borderline bland. It seems like most beers that use them (at least sans additional extracts) vary a lot from batch to batch.

Apricot FS may also be my favorite Casey fruited beer, although CFP Laredo Plum is outrageously good right now...just in case anyone else is hoarding them as I did. Looking forward to trying one of my B3 Balaton bottles, and especially looking forward to the next batch of Apricot beers. Definitely agree with Domingo that apricots are finicky. I often find them way too sour for my palette - Fou Foune is an incredible beer but it's legitimately difficult for me to drink more than a single pour...not that I have the opportunity all the time or anything. Original Apricot Cut falls in the same category. The bottle I opened about 6 weeks ago was incredibly rich (in a good way) but sour (in an enamel removing way). Definitely a tough fruit to stick.

That Laredo Plum is liquid gold, strawberry dream for days... yeah I love it as well. I still think Cab Franc CFP is my favorite fruited Casey, but that could change on an hourly basis depending on how I feel lol

I am VERY excited for all the amazing fruits coming out, but I may be most excited for the Upslope collab which will be a new incarnation of sorts of Hop Mess, which I think is criminally underrated.

Hop Mess is a top-5 Casey beer for me without a doubt. I'd also agree with the consensus on the fruits. Balaton Cut b1 is probably my favorite Cut (haven't tried b3 yet). Laredo is probably my favorite CFP. And Apricot is definitely my favorite FS. Other honorable mentions in the fruit category are the recent Blackberry beers across the board, Merlot Cut, and the Chardonnay and Riesling Fruit Stands.

All these recent posts about Casey has my mouth watering. I just put my last OT in the fridge for consumption later this evening.

Those triple crown blackberry beers are my favorites - all of them. Last years were good, but the ones from 2016 are amazing. I don't know if there's anything like them anywhere else either.
All things plum and grape have been wonderful, too.
I'm also a fan of Hop Mess and I'm glad to see I'm not crazy. When it first came out it felt like opinions were mixed. I think it's up there with the first two BLC batches if not a bit better.

Opened a CFP Laredo Plum back in May, and I concur, that was my favorite CFP I've had to date.

I want to say Troy told me September when I asked last week but I could be mistaken on that so don't quote me or hold him to it haha

I think Pmoney nailed my list as well, with the exception that I haven't had B1 Balaton and I've yet to drink my BB or B3 Balaton. My favorite cut is a choice between Merlot and Sleeper Bing.

This is my problem. Outside of a few b1 (capped) Saisons and Seasons Pasts, I've got nothing older than a few releases, cuz I keep drankin' it all!

I think Troy really dialed in the Cut with the release of Merlot. I can't wait to try the b3 Balaton.

True words. B1 Ballerton Cut was lightning in a bottle but Merlot Cut was the beginning mark of consistently great batches of the Cuts. Whatever the carbonation issues were with the sleeper Cuts, they appear to be resolved, plus the base blends have really paired well with the fruit.

The same can be said about this year's batches of Oak Theory, I think they are the best he's made yet. The recent blends have all had that unmistakable "gueuze-y" funk quality right out of the gate. You used have to sit on a bottle for 6-12 months before they developed like these bottles are tasting on day one.
