Costco and Craft Beer

it along with Oban is on sale here twice a year for about 3-4 months at a time. so it's only not on sale for that price like 4 months out of each year. around Oct it goes on sale til the end of the year. then around Easter it's on sale usually til the 3rd or 5th of July depending on when the 4th falls. sign for sale ending couple of weeks back :



to keep it really interesting tho', when Costco runs that sale here, the new local Total Wines lists Lagavulin for $54.99.

 

hit a location across the Bay, pretty good stock. rough looking at all that, but rationalizing i realistically only had X amount of $ to throw at it :

I Second that. Abyss, Stickee Monkee, and wootstout for prices likes that all. Plus all of the rest? sign me up.

 

they had too much sheesh. i noticed after it was too late to edit & add to my last post, i accidentally missed one of the photos taken with some more product. . .

 

Is this typical in all Costco stores or just CA ones? I am not a member anymore so I am not sure if AZ is doing this same sort of thing.

 

based on my own experience, it's by the individual store location & seems to be based on the enthusiasm of both the immediate audience combined with the specific buyer(s) at each location. i would say the majority of locations here do NOT have spectacular selections. some of the locations that do tend to bring in solid product however, sometimes have unbelievable selection. also. pretty sure even in AZ you do NOT have to be a member to purchase beer/alcohol/tobacco.

Just picked up two FW Stickee Monkee's at $11.99 each and North Coast Old Stock Cellar Reserve Wheat Whiskey BA for $12.99 at the COSTCO in Folsom, CA. Went it with my girlfriend and couldn't believe it!

 

Wow, I wish we had that. It would definitely motivate me and my husband to go to Costco more often!
