    New variety pack is perfect for the warmer months cant wait! Mule Beer is fantastic and glad to see Kolsch 45 return.

    I noticed Dan's Pink skirt is back on the 2016 schedule. I'm excited. Not sure when this happened.

    Did the schedule change a lot? What prompted the changes?

    We want to make sure we are making beer that will sell fast, so the product can rotate accordingly.

    Spruce is up, this week.

    ProLo uses an English yeast strain, and we need an American one to propagate for other brews. It just doesn't work in our ridiculous production schedule. I'm sure we'll do a pub batch at some point.

    Just had my first fresh 6 day old Spruce Pilsner of the year! Holy smokes its better than I remember, such a good mouthfeel and bitter piney flavor.....so good

    This psychedelic cat grass is on point. Best IPA I've had from shorts/Michigan period. Bar tender said they are bottling and distributing it all in 24 hours so it's as fresh as possible.

    So is the distribution day tomorrow?

    Never mind, looks like Short's website says August 17th. So, it's brewed and ready now, but not getting bottled/distributed until Aug 17th. I fail to see how that is fresh as possible.

    There was a separate pub batch brewed for MBG Summer Beer Fest and to go on tap at the pub. The production batch to be bottled hasn't been brewed yet.

    The batch from the pub is from a another time. It's still delicious. We have a larger batch in Elk Rapids that is currently being brewed and will be packaged/distributed all in the same day. Bellaire and ER both have their own brew houses.

    If you're lucky enough to score some, you'll see the 8/17/16 code date on the neck, and that will make you smile.

    Fuck. This was why I was most pumped about Short's coming to Ohio: Not having to trade for this beer. One of my all-time favorites

    Just picked up 2 bottles of the Spruce pilsner today....Was limited to just the 2 bottles....Haven't cracked on open yet....
