They'll probably announce it a week or two before the release.

Last R&D was announced two weeks before release? So it should be coming soon. I will start the completely unfounded speculation. I will guess apricot or plum sour.

Apologies to those who hoped a bump meant new information.

I have it on good authority that they are doing a sour winter warmer for the GTMW release.

    I heard 3 releases:
    Vintage 2015
    Sour Blonde with Riesling Grapes
    Sour Blonde with Apple Cider

1 for 1 with Vintage 2015. Curious how good the intel was on the other 2...

I think the berliner weisse had riesling grapes in it as well, correct? So a sour with riesling would make sense

ABV is very high for the style at 10%, but consider me hyped: grape sours are my favorite.

I am also a huge fan of grape sours. However, I give a pretty big edge to red grape sours over white grape sours

So...what other sour blonde beers have chardonnay grapes? Looking for a comparison.

Perennial Savant Blanc. I didn't think it was that great though.

Interesting...the label says it rested in barrels during the WINTERS of 2015 and 2016...but it hasn't even been in a barrel a full year so not accurate to say winterS

I found that strange as well. Brewed November 2015, Bottled May 2016
