Parking is generally real easy if you go on a normal day. Plenty of streets and parking on both sides for the most part. On big release days (i.e. BQE) or their anniversary party, parking can be a bit more difficult. I've had to drive around for awhile before parking a good distance away but the neighborhood is nice so its not a bad walk at all.

When you say a lot are we talking like a half pallet or 10 cases, debating driving in at open tomorrow or not

I, too, would be interested in the answer to this question.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. SM is very tasty stuff, I am glad I hit up that release after OH. I would put it behind Oscillation, but not by a wide margin. It definitely is the second best can to date though (well if Oscillation 003 counts as another can, then third best).

Drove in and there were 12 cases of the gose and somo when we got here. Shoukd be 8 and change left after we leave and probably 10 of gose

Souther migration is better then 75% of the beers i have had from other half. A bit pricey but an absolutely delicious and unique brew.

Dammit. I'm out of town that weekend. Anyone know of 004 lasted more than the day of the release or at least into the evening?

004 sold out pretty quickly IIRC. Same day. I know BQExC sold out very quickly as well. I was there

Given how well received 004 was, I'm sure 005 will sell out even faster. Oh wellz, will snag it on draft then.

For 004 release I was there about 45 minutes before opening, pretty far back in the line, and I think the beer only lasted a dozen or so people past my position. The checkout wasn't very quick either, so the overall time waiting was close to 2 hours, something I wouldn't normally do (I was mostly interested in BA BQE then). I'll probably watch for 005 growlers this time instead.

Smooth Beats Miami is one of the best beers I've had in the past few months. Would love to snag some cans but I'll be camping that weekend. First world problems!

Southern Migration is great. Glad I got a few cans of this beer. Tons of sediment though (not a bad thing).

On another note, I find it extremely lame that they labeled one of their beers' style as a Crushable IPA. Any beer can be "crushable" (such a lame ass term) depending on your mood, setting, etc. Right now, sitting on my beach, SNPA is super "crushable".

Can anyone give me a crash course on Finback's releases? I want to go on Sunday but likely can't get there until 1-130pm. What degree of fucked will I be?

I would expect to wait 30 mins to 60 mins.

Last oscillation/ BQEX release wasn't a complete shit show.

They only open at 1pm, you'll be fine. There will probably be a small line formed before open, but nothing close to selling through their supply. Fin cans tend to stick around at the brewery through at least the first week of their availability. I know Osc004 sold out more quickly, but that was paired with BQExC bottles and their anniversary party. Smooth Beats Miami seems to be a slightly polarizing beer (though I'm thrilled to see it packaged, it's delicious), and won't draw the same crowd even with Osc005 available alongside it.

Solid. SBM is delicious and I'm stoked they canned it--even the GF likes it
