When will this years harvest be available for purchase? I've never loaded up on anything before but am thinking about it this year

My LHBS got theirs in the week before last. I just looked at a couple online stores and didn't see any, so odds are you may have already missed them. Maybe someone else can chime in and correct me though.

Edit: Forgot my LHBS is getting fresh Citra next week so maybe not everything has been harvested yet.

Hops direct has some 1 pound varieties in stock as of yesterday. http://www.hopsdirect.com/

I just loaded up yesterday on my favorites.

Hops from this years harvest will be available through until next years harvest. If they dissapeared as quickly as you're implying then there would be no hops from now until next fall.

To answer the OPs question, whole cone varieties should start becoming available over the next few weeks, whereas it's generally a few months before pellets start to show up.

I somehow misread his question to be about wet hops... Oops! Indeed, the dried hops from this year's harvest will be out as stated above.

There are some dried 2012 leaf hops available right now, as LeeryLeprechaun indicated. I too just ordered some from hopsdirect.

I just snagged some goodies from freshops.com

Whole leaf of some of the big crops are out.. Got some Amarillo, Cascade and some Magnum.. Magnum is 15.5 AA this year, so it'll be great for a cheap clean bittering hop and then use other stuff for flavor.
