I will be traveling through Charleston on Sunday (Aug 7) and noticed that both Westbrook and COAST are closed. Are most breweries closed on Sunday? Can anyone point me to any specific places that would have their draft and/or cans? I will be in the King St area but can walk/drive if need be. Thanks!

PS - coming from San Diego, would be down for ip trades...pm me!

House of brews in Mt. Pleasant. If you have some time check out edmunds oast for excellent food and higher end draft selection. Be sure to check out the bottle selection (prices are high)

Are Westbrook bottles available at EO? (Any base Mexican Cake to be found anywhere?)

The Charleston Beer Exchange is right downtown and open from 12-6 on Sunday.

I'm moving to Charleston on Saturday from south FL and would be interested in what you're bringing to trade.

I heard you can order Mexican Cake at a restaurant called Jack of Cups on Folly Beach, although it may a bit taxed.

The following are open on Sunday:
    Revelry
    Holy City
    Low Tide
    Two Blokes (brand new)
    Ghost Monkey (brand new)

As for bottles of regular Mex Cake - I spotted it on the menu at Minero on East Bay St. last weekend, onsite consumption only, $45/bottle. Edmund's Oast still has some BA cake variants in their cooler, on-site consumption only, ~$150/bottle.

Definitely make a stop by the Charleston Beer Exchange for some take home beer - they usually have a pretty good selection of local stuff. Look for COAST Boy King DIPA cans while here...they just released a fresh batch last week-ish. There's a store over in Mt. Pleasant called Bottles that usually has a pretty good selection as well.

No problem at all! Boy King should be easy to find since a new batch just came out. Keep your eyes out for 4-packs of the Key Lime Gose Westbrook released as well, you might get lucky and find some still kicking around town.

Also, try Total Wine in West Ashley - they have been hit and miss lately but sometimes you get lucky and find good stuff there.

Hilton Head brewing is doing some amazing stuff with their new Break series of IPAs. They have a new guy that worked at Trillium for awhile and he's turned some heads for a brewery that has long been an afterthought.

I know moe's crosstown pub on Rutledge has cake on tap right now. Definitely recommend revelry, holy city of they are open, beer exchange, bottles in mt P, edmunds oast. First post here, hoping that's kosher.

Craft Conundrum has a good relationship with them and their distributor. They buy all that the distributor allows.
