If im outside i choose a beer in cans. I pour into clear plastic cups also so nobody steps on a can, people.....dogs....so on. Parties here can go all night and you drink too much and drop an can, people walking barefoot will hurt.

I'd like to drink out one of these! Coolest glass I've seen.

At home, glassware 99% of the time. Upta camp, clear plastic cup, if you've ever drank a yellow jacket out of your can you understand.

Plastic cup if they're available, but if not then a can is fine. A bottle is not, however. Something to do with science...

I prefer the canned format for obvious reasons of convenience but when cans aren't available and only bottles, and we're around someone's pool ... I have a set of four of these - acrylic stemware. These work great, unbreakable, and less than $5 each!

So you're pouring from a can shaped vessel into another can shaped vessel? :astonished: You've got to cut out the middle man and drink straight from the first can!

Just goofing...I think we all enjoy those can glasses. Anyone that says they don't is living in a house of lies.

I have a new favorite glass. This one. It's two pours from twelve ounces. I love that. Perfect for any beer and will show you the nose just as well as a tulip. The 12 ounce stange is my other favorite. Then I have two tasting glasses i love very much. The short one for heavier beer, the tall ones for lagers and lighter beers.

I'm also of that same feeling. Would definitely rather see my beer than drink from the can. Anyone who doesn't like to pour out into a clear cup, do you have a reason why not? Too annoying to bring wih you? Dont like the squishy feel?

Just curious why a clear pint glass in a bar is the only way to go, but then outside we abandon it all and go straight can/bottle

Park/Beach I go for disposable cup.
    BBQ out of bottle/can
Beer Event they always provide some form of small 4oz cup, in the early days it was glass and I have my collection, now its cheap plastic... BOO
    LOL
    Cheers.

I would think the vast majority would do this out of ease, in a bar the glass is provided and removed for you over and over, etc.
In public most people are not traveling with cups/glassware. Its simply easier to use can/bottle then toss in garbage. Also, depending where you are at its illegal. I know in CA you cannot drink in open on the beach. I did this some time ago and almost got arrested for it, they stuck me with nice $300 ticket though. I thought so long as I was not driving a car that day it was just fine (Had a ride). Turned out I was so wrong, LOL.
    Cheers.

Opaque cups offer better protection against being light struck.

Always remember, they won't let you show it at the beach .
