As far as I know, Black Note was a brewery only release this year. Was a really small batch. I could be wrong, but this is what I was hearing when it all started popping up on the trade forum a couple weeks ago.

According to stone's website it was bottled on Monday. It seems to take 2 or 3 weeks after bottling to hit minneapolis. It hits the suburbs maybe a week earlier.

Heritage, Rapids, Top Tens. Should be able to find it pretty easy

Could be wrong, but I don't think this distros to MN. It was already released in MI

There's been a few reports of the Chicago area and Wisconsin getting a very limited amount of it. My guess is if you have to ask where it is, you're already too late to get any if it even makes it here.

What kind of prices are we looking at for Clown Shoes Archdruid? I'm hoping a bit less than the $14 Rexx still sitting on shelves everywhere. I really liked Rexx, but not enough to buy more than one at that price.

Rapids probably still has a few. It's a bit north, but I don't get to the cities much.

Lund & Byerly's SLP had a bunch last week, haven't been in a few days but probably worth a call.

Was actually there last night and they still had 5 bottles on the shelf. Could possibly be more in the back.

Sorry for butting in here, guys, but need one suggestion for retail stop. I get one stop. Has to be south/sw. Was thinking total wine Edina, and I know there are oppositions due to it being a chain, but I'm really just looking for variety that I can't get in Iowa. I know there is a thread for options, but looking for the best one given my geographical limitations. Thoughts? Thanks!

    I'd swing into South Lyndale.

France 44 is a decent option, too. Best of luck.

I agree with F44. Skip Total Wine - they don't have nearly the selection of local MN beers that you will find at F44 or S. Lyndale Liquor along with the national brands.

I have been surprised at Total's limited release selection....I generally go to the Burnsville location though. MN also doesn't have the 15% abv cap that Iowa has(I live in DSM), so I have stumbled on a few higher abv gems such as Avery's Samael's and The Beast
