If you are there by 3:30 you should be fine, but yes that may be pushing it a bit. Selling out by 4:15 on Wednesday may be the new norm, especially if the can combo is Julius/Green, Julius/Haze, etc. If one of the beers is Sap, Bright, or Lights On (all of which are great beers), everything should last until close no problem - people just don't flock out for those as much as the others. Best of luck!

Any chance we'll see the new white logo bulb glasses in the online shop?

Quick point on your post - you mentioned it being a long way for 12 beers. Sounds like you have your wife with you - so that should be 24 beers total . I'd be sure she picks up her allotment, even if you're going to drink most of them.

182 cards collected more than 30 minutes before official open....don't people work anymore?! I don't think I'm even going to bother going down for a fill of Very Green. It's getting out of hand at this point. I can't wait for the new spot to open. Man....

Best brewery in the world according to many. Limited release. People may not have gotten Very Hazy on Friday or Saturday. Haze & Julius included means a Thursday growler fill = way more than normal.

People just need to expect this as the new norm. Don't understand why people are so shocked by this.

If you think this is bad wait until Good Morning is released. You are going to have A LOT of unhappy people.

Last time GM was released, it was on for like two weeks. I went two Saturdays in a row and waited no more than 2 hours each time. They had a record number of growler slips (something like 776), a number that has not been surpassed since.

So yes, while it's really bad right now, it's been worse and even then it still wasn't that bad. It's going to be a lot worse for the next GM release now that TH has really taken off, but I don't forsee it being too terrible to the point where people will be upset any more than they already are.

At 1pp, GM will last at least all three growler days in the week. Dean has said that they make it a priority to get GM out to as many people as possible, and 1pp is insanely effective. And you can bet your ass that most people won't be going through the 2-3 hour growler line twice (is this even frowned upon?) so beer will last even longer.

Point is, I'm not worried. Sure, you'll be waiting for ages, but you will get beer, and you will have multiple chances to get it. The only wildcard here is the slip limit of 350 that's been common of late. If that's the case, then GM will last even longer, but you'll have to show up super early on the weekdays. Saturday should be fine though, provided you're willing to wait.

Ultimate no-no and Dean will make sure you don't try it again!!! This assumes the same day. Different days, that's OK.

Haha, I asked because I don't think I've ever heard of somebody going through the growler line twice simply because they'll close before you can do it or if you manage to do it, you'll be there all day.

I suppose there are ways to get multiple slips handed in before paying for the first... but damn, that's still a lot of waiting. You'd have to be really desperate for some a dat beer.

All of this is covered in the first post. A few people have tried to cheat the system and got called out. Limits are there for a reason. Spreads the wealth to more people over multiple days. Limits are per person, per day.

You used to be able to go through the growler line twice. When did they change this? The on-tap page only says that can limits are per person per day right now.

The Saturday of batch 2 you could basically have as many growlers as you want filled with almost not wait. Miss those days
