Looks like it's only 12 per person for the release party then dropping back to 6

 

Guess it depends on cases available. I'd expect 100 people to buy a full case both today and tomorrow.

 

wonder what the case count is, it must be pretty damn high if they think theyll drop it back down to 6 after the weekend, I wasn't even expecting it to last the day.

And even worse yet, to know someone could easy stop by today and tomorrow and have a case of this stuff

This is a beauty. Classic JOs BB profile with the awesomeness of Oro. I'm impressed at how much pepper spice it has left (after warming up a bit).

 

Oro is probably my favorite too, so I would usually be beyond excited to see this on Twitter. Unfortunately I don't know any better and I have volunteer work to do all weekend for our park's biggest fundraiser so there is no way I can get there, and there is no way they are going to survive the weekend. I thought they were going to drop around Oct. Is there still another bottling planned @beace ?

 

I would think 550 cases would last thru the weekend right?

 

Honestly, I don't usually go out of my way for beer releases. I have enough options to keep me happy. That being said, I've been all aboard the JO Hype Train.

Luckily I have a friend swinging by this afternoon on his way back from WV. Should tide me over.

 

Can someone enlighten me on the situation, it is slightly confusing? BB Oro is available today/tomorrow, but with the bottle release tomorrow are they not doing walkins (ie you have to go today) for BB Oro? Also, is this "Bourbon Barrel aged spice imperial walnut stout" an unnamed Oil variant?

 

Anyone know if there is any BA Coffee Oil left? The list on the JO's site is a few days behind.

 

Nope go today tomorrow whenever they still have it you can go anytime from when they open til they close. Oro is at the production facility, the bottle sale tomorrow is at the public house/brewpub uptown. Oro is a spiced treatment of oil

 

Thanks @pyite . My bad for not paying attention on the FB post, they made it seem like there were 2 bottle, but the latter was the description of the Oro (and a bad one at that). Oversight on my side, I actually didn't know Oil was the base for Oro despite having it loads of times. Guess I should have Read the Book (uh, I mean label)!

 

At the brewery now, lady working told my wife she thought they had gone through 200 cases so far
