Anybody know of a decent place with a good selection up on the northside? Only places I've found are specs on 249@spring cypress, and HEB's(which are hit or miss)
There are not a lot of bottle shops around Houston and its burbs. Specs, Central Market, some HEB's, Whole Foods and of D&Q are all we got. Pretty slim pickings outside of the big box shops.
Yeah, I found a Black ops at an HEB last week. I wish we had more options especially outside of the city.
Dang I missed out on Black Ops this year. Came out around the time my baby was born and I thought I missed out.
Inside the woodlands...HEBs all have a varying assortment. SPECS on Louetta did some crazy remodel of their beer aisle, hopefully they have more beer in than last time I went. Make sure to check out Hubbell and Hudson, it is on the waterway, across from the movie theatre in the mall parking lot. They have a great selection there too. I also like the HEB at 2920 and Spring Cypress.
I use to run the beer dept at the 2920 HEB now I work at the HEB in the back off The Woodlands. I'm not sure what your looking for but I try to keep up with everything. In the past I had black ops, abyss, clutch, stone cherry chocolate stout, jester king, more black then brown. I'm sure there is something I'm leaving off, but you should just stop in or beer email me to keep up to date with what I get.
Oh, my name is jared. I actually met you the other day at the 2920 store. I went up to your store and picked up some black ops last week. You have a nice selection in there.
Jared..I believe HIS name is Jacob..... I believe, very similar. I miss him at 2920 location. Hard to find beer guyts in this end of town willing to get through the bureaucracy to get limited releases. Wondering if you are going to have a list for DR12 release? Most HEBs seem to have list only for Divine releases.
