New beer Friday, North Coast Old Rasputin Nitro Imperial Stout, 9% ABV, 75 IBU. Pours thick and black, with a real beautiful nitro head. Nose is coffee and roasted malt, taste follows, with moderate bitter close. Great mouthfeel, overall excellent, well balanced, a step up from the non-nitro.

 

Well, it's with a sad heart that I must report the Prairie Apple Brandy met an untimely demise...



At least somebody got to enjoy it.

I just lost my bunny friend of 7 years, so I really appreciate that figurine there. Looks like it's into good beer \m/

Getting crowded here as I keep forgetting we took a half day, so it's now really happy hour! Am a bit upset our sister city is seeing this and we aren't .

Then again, we live in suburban DC, and we are in Baltimore proper, so maybe I should learn my place .

It's pretty good. Little too malty for my tastes, but it is decent. Not the subtlest of beers

Sorry about your bunny friend. Hoppy's been with me for many many years and he lives under some toadstools in our garden. He's older than most BA's and is very talented.

My bunny was tough as hell, but still don't know what exactly caused her to pass suddenly. Only took her to the vet once for an illness which was a runny nose a couple months ago. Ended up not being a health risk and went back to throwing around cardboard tubes and tearing up paper like she has all her life

Wow! She was active! Hoppy doesn't usually do much and only talks or drinks beer when just two of us are in the room. @jzeilinger has a bunny that I think drinks too.
