I really like their Oud Bruin, but their other beers are also quite nice.

They've got a shiny new facility coming on line and stepping up production, so we'll see more and more of 'em. Oud Bruin must be the sourest of the genre, if not in measurable pH (thought might well be), then on balance with slightly less malt than classics of the style. Takes some warming up to it. I was skeptical about the oak leaves thing; I was wrong. Earthy, complex, fantastic. Vineyard is quite subtle in the fruit aspect, the grape is very much a background note. Golden Tricky is a good'n for the exotic-fruit hop thing. NoAH is quite restrained in hop character. Rebel Local has a nice bitterness level for me, notable without trying to take anyone's head off; it's a bit like other belge IPA of the era, seemingly radical at the time but now not so shocking, which is not a demerit. Moose Blues is a tasty, sticky brown when it's right. (I've been victimized by a flat and underflavored one, I think due to a bad bottle shop fobbing off old product I had a similar experience with an Oaky Moaky, but have a better one, I'm sure from another supplier, now in my cellar wait for this weekend.)

@Albin, did you find it locally in Sweden?

The Oud Bruin was bought and deunk in Nüetinnogh(?) in Brussels early in the spring. Golden Tricky was bought at Ølbutikken in Copenhagen. I obiously need to give the oud bruin another try since i read the commebts in this thread

Me, too, but there are other red-browns not to neglect, and more of them more readily available in our grocery and such.

And *groan* I was right near Ølbutikken a couple times when not in position to buy anything.

Brouwers verzet is located at 10 minutes from my place and they used to have a bar right across the street from the brewery but the barkeeper sadly quit :slight_frown: .
The wallpainting at the brewery is coming along nicely!
